I'm impressed with how well it reads inflection from my script. It sounds remarkably similar to the way I read the script (in my head). I am a one-person production team here, and the thing I like least is recording narrative for course videos. It takes me forever to record an acceptable take. Hiring voice talent is a dream beyond my budget. Finding AI that sounds so good and natural is a huge productivity boost and stress reliever. It's easy to use and integrate into my video projects. I enter my script and generate. Make a few tweaks here and there, then export the file and import it into my vdeo in Final Cut. **What do you dislike about LOVO?** I had some initial frustration with getting it to consistently pronounce a particular term (which is throughout a huge project). It would say it correctly in one sentence and incorrectly in the next. I tried multiple attempts at phonetic spellings with no luck. Then it suddenly pronounced one spelling correctly that had not worked in the beginning. It's been pretty consistent since, only occasionally mispronouncing. Lovo appears to be the one solution I have found. The voices are very human sounding and I am in the process of converting all fourteen of my books. Although the voices are excellent, the system has some shortcomings. One of these is that it doesn't understand the punctuation conventions of dialogue. To sound natural, the voice hesitates for a fraction of a second when it encounters a comma. In dialogue, the comma-quotation mark followed by "he said" causes the voice to hesitate unnaturally between the statementn and "he said." I go through a process I refer to "sanitizing" where I 1) change all sequences of comma-quotation mark to quotation mark and change those instances of question mark-quotation to just quotation if they are followed by any form of "he said". I do not delete the question marks if the quotation ends a sentence. The program also doesn't recognise 16th (sixteenth). It converts it to sixteen-t-h. I also convert four-digit numbers into two pairs with a space between them. I perform all of these substitutions using Word's search-and-replace function using wild card functions. **What do you dislike about LOVO?** I use the quick voices because I need to add pauses between scenes. I wish I could go to 2 seconds, but the maximum is 1 second. The systeme is always being improved upon. For example when i first subscribed to the system i didnt like the how credits were used to redo previous attempts to make it sound better. That as been fixed with only credit taken for new attemps not to regenerate. I did have one issue but Customer support fixed it quick without hassle. Currently use it quite a bit to help reduce our bottle neck from our previous recorder. You can preview them and find the most fitting one. The whole user experience of LOVO is very intuitive, so you can start to work right away by inserting your text and pre-listening to it. There is no preview "on the fly". I am in my 60s and I found the program very easy to use and understand I did not even use the tutorials. **What do you dislike about LOVO?** The only glitches I can find are a few times the AI narrator does not pronounce a word correctly but it is so minor it does not affect turning the product into an Audiobook. **What problems is LOVO solving and how is that benefiting you?** It solved me having to pay people to narrate my Audio books. It's helpful to use real-sounding AI generated voices to read texts, slides, instructions, etc. It allows me to easily create voiceovers while spending my own time on other things. Before, I was recording all of my own voiceovers, which was time consuming, and frustrating when I had to re-record due to messing something up. I use it every day! Implementing the voiceovers is super easy as well, as they are so easy to download. In addition to being easy to download, integrating them into any system is easy as well, because they are downloaded as audio files that can be imported into most other platforms. **What do you dislike about LOVO?** The only thing that I find not helpful about LOVO is that I wish there were more high-quality voices. There are at least 6-8 high quality voices, which is great! There is a great selection of voices to fit pretty much any project. The pro voices sound extremely natural. The user interface is polished and very easy use. I've only played around with the AI image generator a few times, but it shows promise. I also look forward to trying the AI script writer to see how it compares to other tools I have used. These are really nice features to have at no additional cost. Overall, I am very impressed with my experience thus far. **What do you dislike about LOVO?** My only minor gripe is that the entire script has t be regenerated if, for example, you make a single typo that needs correction - thus deducting the entire length of the script from your monthly generation "allowance." But I suppose that's just the nature of the beast. Unless I'm missing something, I can't find an option to export an audio file. It appears to only export in video format. The included AI image generator is a much appreciated feature, but could be further enhanced/improved upon to bring it up to par with some of the other tools I have tried. Editing and other options are not intuitive. The help is not great; no chatbot can answer questions, and for specific questions, you need to email them, and the response was less than stellar. It discounts your time when you edit because the voice did not say something correctly, even though you loaded up the correct pronunciation. Also, when you find the correct pronunciation for a word, sometimes the voice will change, and it sounds different in the audio sections.
