The ease of editing has only gotten better as with the mobile integration and those two things excite me for the future. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
That is not often used by companies all the time at this point. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The ease of use, and the interactive features for other viewers. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Nothing at all, the quality of the videos and the interactive features are just amazing. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Loom is getting smarter and smarter as the weeks go on! The AI transcript is super helpful, being able to cut out the uhms and filler words with AI is fab too! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Some of the user experience isn't as easy as it could be. I.e. the browser extension doesn't give you an option to navigate to your library etc, neither does the desktop version. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I find Loom very easy to use and effective. I used the desktop app more than anything and create educational, entertaining, professional with a personal touch videos. The latest AI integration has been very helpful and I'm looking forward to getting more comfortable with how to use it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I believe I am not utilizing the tool to its fullest and would like to see more examples and success stories posted to give me ideas on how to improve my communications. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It's interface is really easy to use. I like having the app downloaded to my computer so I can click the Loom symbol to open it up from the top banner of my screen multiple times per day. I'm also obsesses with the pause and restart buttons that prevent me from having to start over every time I mess up in my recording. The editing capabilities have come a long way in my time working with it which has nearly eliminated my need to stop and start over. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It could offer a bit more accuracy with its editing feature, I'd like it to be easier to stop and start the recording while in editing mode but otherwise I'm very happy with it's editing capabilities. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
In approximately 12-16 minutes I can make a video presentation of my glazed extension model, highlighting all the most important featues. I never edit the presentation. I just imagine I am sitting with them and running through the information. Benefit to me.
Time saved travelling
Time saved presenting (the same info would take an hour face to face.
I can record the vdeo whenever I like (often at night)
I don't have to spend time arranging to get both partners together at the same time (sometimes they are not both in the same Country, but can share the video.
Benefite to the Client:
They don't have to set aside time and coordinate with their partner to meet up with me
They are seeing the same information (Benefit to me as well, as I'm not relying on meeting one Partner and them trying to remember what I have told them... they would only reember 20% of what they are told and guess what? They will remember what it most important to them, not their partner.
Clients love it, because it gives them all the important information both visually with explanantion in the briefest time, where they can watch it at their convenience and not have to set aside valuable time for meetings.
It also sets me apart as unique... no other sales people use it. I can't understand why!
I am also using it to create short training videos on how to use our drawing software
YOU MISSED OUT THE MOST IMPORTANT ROLE BELOW.... SALES Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I find the editing interface clunky and really get annoyed when I set up the screen I want to use for full screen and then it reduces the page when I am about to record. I wish it would save the settings. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
As an accountant I often get the same questions from clients and coworkers and, without Loom, would find myself explaining the same ideas and processes over and over again. Loom saves me time by only having to explain it once and sharing the link. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Also as an accountant, my computer screen often shows sensitive personal and financial information that I need to keep confidential. Because of this, I have to be very careful about what I record in my looms. I understand that loom has a feature that allows you to blur parts of the video, but that is only available with the paid subscription and to my understanding has to be set up prior to recording. (In other words, you can only blur a fixed portion of the screen). If loom would allow users to blur different portions of the screen at different parts of the video it would be greatly helpful in allowing me to share processes without compromising sensitive client info. Being able to talk through my scenarios and edit them to reflect only the CORRECT version.
Having an explanation available now, next week, next month - whenever a teammate needs to review something. It will make it easier to make sure nothing falls through the cracks when an employee is out - especially at the last minute. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I don't like the way stitch & trim works. To me, it's intuitive to slide the purple bars. I took me MANY tries before I stopped moving the orange bar aroound before clicking the "stich" box. I also have a hard time with multiple screens. When i open it on one screen, I would assume I could record there. It allows me to MOVE the record button to the screen I want, but I learned the hard way that it still records only the screen where the count-down occurs. I do the playback in 1.2x for editing, but i wish the default wi=ould switch to 1.0 for all viewers. Many have said I go too fast, and I've had to take time to show them how to slow it down. I wish i could pay for my own personal account and be able to experience the fullness of zoom without having to request the organization to do so. The whole organization does not need Loom as of now but if i could use loom as a trainer and leader, it could become one of our main pathways of communicating. There are so many spaces that allow you to edit a video but loom restricts that. It's not even an advancted feature but it is on loom. At least you could allow the feature option for requiring authentification. That way there's an opportunity for more users for you and an opportunity for a user to see who is watching the video. Being able to share videos without storing them on my desktop. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Loom has consistently fallen short in delivering essential features that are standard for any collaborative platform, making it difficult for users to work effectively. For instance, despite being a paying subscriber and the admin of my workspace, I cannot delete videos uploaded by former team members. This lack of administrative control is frustrating and, frankly, unreasonable for a product marketed as a collaborative tool.
Moreover, there is no way to share folders with other paying Loom subscribers outside my workspace. In comparable services like Dropbox, this is a standard, basic feature, yet it remains unavailable in Loom. Sharing with non-Loom subscribers is another cumbersome process that seems to ignore real-world usage needs.
Every time I raise these issues with customer service, I am directed to “vote” for these essential features, as though they are optional add-ons rather than fundamental functionality. The difference between a basic requirement and a “nice-to-have” should be clear, and it’s concerning that Loom seems to rely on user votes for essential updates.
In summary, Loom appears indifferent to the practical needs of its users, prioritizing minor upgrades over core functionality. Given the availability of emerging alternatives, I intend to move away from Loom, as its poor product development and lack of responsiveness no longer inspire confidence.
