It does it all. In EDI (Fashion) there are often examples to processes when files are being exchanged. Single customers need ERP specific identifiers or fields, different mappings or even combinations of different filetypes being generated and sent together.

Lobster really does it all, we haven't come into a situation where we haven't found a proper solution to resolve the requests through their interface and functions.

It takes time to master Lobster and really find the right ways to route and build things. The onboarding is really good and comprehensive, but figuring out how to design your profiels and route them in a scalable way can take time. I like the ease of use of this tool. The GUI is clear and easy to learn. There is a faq section where is well explained how to use utilities or functions with very detailed examples.

There is not so much I dislike about Lobster. They just added one feature in the last big update: There are not tabs inside of Lobster_data anymore. You have to open a new tab in the browser but that's just personal preference. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

For me, Lobster data is a great solution to connect different applications (from different countries) with our catalogue for car parts. With the help of Lobster we are connecting all kind of suppliers via API’s, webhooks or Lobster as part of our server. It’s all based on no-code and due to it’s cloud based solution it’s always available everywhere. Beside these points it’s also great for error logging and with the help of Lobsters technical consultant Yannick problems are always quickly fixed.

To summarize Lobster is a great application which we are using to connect to different suppliers. Every supplier can send and receive information within his own familiar file format and with the help of Lobster we can transform this data easily to our own formats. Biggest downside for Lobster from my perspective is that the customer is responsible for patches and updates. For AAG as a company it would be great if Lobster could cover this totally within the service contract.
