I have been working with Lobster_data for almost 10 years now and am still very satisfied. Integrations are easy to implement. To date, I have not had a case where an integration could not be implemented because of Lobster_data. The support responds quickly and is - with a few exceptions - always very helpful.
In general, it is relatively easy to work with Lobster_data. The architecture allows Lobster_data to be operated on all relevant platforms and to be connected to all imaginable source and target systems. The UI appears very tidy and clear.
The application runs very stably. In all the years that I have been working with Lobster_data and administering it in various companies, I have not had a single notable failure. Right at the beginning there was a problem with phase 4, which occurred after a patch. But here too, support provided a fix within a few hours. It is rare to see such a quick reaction to a bug, so this is definitely worth mentioning. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
My impression is that the company is currently expanding rapidly. My perception is that this is currently coming at a bit of a cost to support. It used to be easier to request new functions and have them provided. Today, in some situations, the impression is created that the goal is to close the ticket quickly.
Some time ago, the decision was made that the http response path in phase 6 would no longer provide detailed information about the response from the target system. This means that the response from the target system is only output in base64 encoded form. This means that a lot of added value is lost in the logs and we had to rebuild numerous profiles so that they now use phase 3 via the http function. I cannot understand why these changes were not made parameterizable so that customers can decide for themselves whether the response should be encoded in phase 6 or not. For us, this was a considerable amount of extra work and led to massive problems. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The barrier to entry is very low, after just one course we were already able to realise our own projects.
New interfaces can be activated after a very short implementation time.
The support is outstanding and provides quick assistance with questions about the system.
The built-in help is very detailed and contains many practical examples that explain the functions again.
If there are technical errors with the Lobster tool, these are quickly and easily rectified with customised patches. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Due to the many different functions, it sometimes seems that they have not been tested or developed down to the last detail.
Unfortunately, you often only notice real errors in the system very late, when a lot of debugging time has already been invested in the project. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Lobster has become an integral part of our environment, seamlessly connecting both our internal and external systems. The application handles everything from our EDI and API integration to ETL, just to name a few. I have personally used Lobster for three years now, and I have never encountered an integration task I couldn't solve with it. While Lobster can be used effectively without SQL skills, having them allows you to truly accelerate business digitization.
The support team is excellent, with tickets usually answered within three working hours. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The primary drawback of Lobster is that customers must handle patches and updates. Other than that, I can't think of any other downsides. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Lobster_data excels in customer support and thorough documentation. The support team is responsive and highly solution-focused, while the extensive guides and training materials make onboarding smooth and easy, even for beginners. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Troubleshooting in Lobster_data can be a bit challenging. Error logs aren’t always intuitive, making it harder to diagnose and resolve issues without the help of support. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

It takes a bit of time to get into it initially (especcially for more complex scenarios) but once you are over that hurdle, connecting different systems, tools and data becomes very easy.
It also helps that the documentation is often very good and detailed. And for the other cases the suppport is also quick to respond and helpful. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It´s definetly not the cheapest tool, especially if you need many profiles and connectors. Some of the features like LDAP should be included in the base license.
Sometimes you can reach the limit of what Lobster can do if the scenario gets too complex. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It offers a huge amount of possibilities to connect different systems and to meet multiple requirements. It is very user-friendly and your knowledge of the integration of data will increase on a daily basis. When finishing your firsts projects successfully by using Lobster_data it gives you such a satisfying feeling. It is great. Further the support of Lobster_data is excellent. They are very professional and always provide the best solution for any kinds of problems immediately. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Sometimes it is hard to find a solution for a specific problem or topic within the contextual help of Lobster_data due to the complexity of the contained information. But with a little bit of patience you will find your solution here as well. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Lobster_data has a lot of connection options out of the box. When you open Lobster_data for the first time it's easy to find the connection you're looking for. Even without a lot of knowledge of coding it's possible to assemble profiles that help the data flow of your systems. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
One downside of Lobster_data is the documentation. For the simple things there is a guide that tells you everything you need to know, but when you want to do more complex things the documentation falls short. Online there aren't many examples from people so you need to relyon the support of Lobster_data for some problems. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

We use Lobster_data to enable our customers sending of data in nearly any format they choose through a lot of possible channels. The easy low-code mappings allow us to map the data to our internal format which can often times be done by non-developers which frees a lot of ressources compared to customized interfaces. Due to Lobster_data's nature as a EDI-converter it integrates easily into our current environment and allows for quick onboarding of new customers and processes. onboarding takes a while and the UI does not feel consistent (e.g. where the tool auosaves and where it needs a dedicated click). Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Robust and reliable platform without unexpected downtimes/crashes etc.
All in one solution (e.g. big amount of connectors)
Very nice UI,
Excellent support team, fast reaction to found vulnerabilities.
If bugs are found and noticed to support, usually it ended up with quick solution released as single patch within days, not months. No need to wait for new update/upgrade.
As a low-code/no-code solution entry-level for new users is low.
Good documentation/help.
Customer Service listens and helps. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Documentation for functions is not harmonized, expected would be to have fixed section for description of functionality behind, input parameters, result. Some functions behaviour seems to be weird and unexpected, documentation is silent about it, so taking assumptions can lead to unexpected issues.
User interface in 4.1 was excellent (fast, easy to read and reliable), unfortunately v4.5 brought up new interface which has not been tested enough, so customers struggled few months before v4.6 was released. I dislike "monochromatic" interface (icons become useless if i have to figure out what they present), luckily can be coloured and icons removed or zoomed-out by CSS injection. We have been using Lobster for a year now and have already replaced many processes. The integration in our processlandscape was very easy and welcomed. We use lobster_data almost every day. With the low-code approach, interfaces can be implemented quickly and easily, which would probably take weeks in a conventional development process. Lobster is not only easy to use, but also enables fast and cost-effective implementation of data pipelines. The data cockpit completes the package. It allows us to minimize the support effort for interfaces, as process stakeholders can now monitor their own interfaces. The support and the consultancy is also very satisfying. Unfortunately, I don't like the licensing model in some aspects. The included amount of profiles are quickly reached depending on the development style or effort. I also do not agree at all with the switch to subscription-only. There should still be a purchase option available. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
