What do you like best about LMN?

I like that we have many tools and I have a record of every job done, it is easy to use, really good customer service Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about LMN?

I don´t like that we ton´t have the option to import the information an generate a smartsheet or a googlesheet,or excel, and some of the jobs I have to do should be done one by one, for ie, every year we need to generate the ssame estimates we made last year Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about LMN?

Organizing the quotes based on service vs. project (standard) and then linking them to the calendar. Also, being able to see the crew's hours/progress related to said quote. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about LMN?

Not being able to show the material list on service estimates as you do on standard ones. Some service quotes don't require us to show the price breakdown, but, it would be nice to have the option. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is LMN solving and how is that benefiting you?

Having to create our PDFs manually. Having to use a shared library of all our materials, terms and conditions, notes, etc. Having to manually create a calendar and link all job information. Overall, it helps us be more productive and organized; I can't imagine operating the company without it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about LMN?

There are a lot of capabilities to manage your RESIDENTIAL landscaping business. It ties in with your budget and captures job costing down to every detail. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about LMN?

This software feels like it's held together tape with bubblegum. Every customer service interaction ends with "the system doesn't have that capability right now." And there are so many BASIC FEATURES this software LACKS. Some of the absurd examples are as follows:

- The measuring function is a joke. Find another software to measure anything more than a small backyard. It won't measure more than one polygon at a time. Measuring a commercial property would take literal days.

- Every single function of the CRM is a separate window that must be individually saved when entering data or hitting the back button, or the data is lost.

- No customization of the CRM screen. So I can't see my clients' addresses or last date contacted at a glance. I have to open each contact individually, which is cumbersome and takes so much time.

- You can't copy and paste information from most screens. When you click on text it automatically opens the feature/function. For example, trying to highlight and copy a client's phone number will open the client's contact info, then you must click the "contacts" tab, then click the actual contact, then you can copy it to your clipboard...

- Invoicing is a mess. No fields can carry customizable information automatically, so if any additional information is required on the invoice for a certain client (PO#, billbox code, etc.), it must be manually keyed in every single invoice.

- Bulk scheduling doesn't show the number of labor hours a task/job takes to complete, and you can't limit scheduling based on labor hours. So unless you know how long each job takes, your bulk schedule will dump 100hours of work on one day, even though a crew can only complete 8 hours of work in a day. Then you manually have to divvy up the rest (using a separate window).

I could go on and on about everything frustrating about this software, however, if you are a tiny mom and pop landscaper that needs a software to tell you how to run your business, this could be for you. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about LMN?

The CRM, estimating and connectivity to quickbooks are fantastic features. It is so helpful to set yourself up for consistency and success when using these tools Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about LMN?

The program is very rigid - there is very much room for flexibility if you have a job or project out of the norm. Also to update settings and add in jobs etc there are a lot of steps going back and forth between different menu windows that gets combersome quickly. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is LMN solving and how is that benefiting you?

Scheduling, routing jobs and storing customer details are the biggest benefits of LMN for us. Having customer info centralized makes finding info easier, automated routing makes our crews more efficient and scheduling changes are easy making our busy ever changing operations a breeze. What do you like best about LMN?

LMN can be very detailed in your estimating, progress & time tracking/scheduling needs. The more data you feed it, the more detail you can achieve Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about LMN?

There are several oversights and inconsistencies in visual, vocabulary, and system bugs that limit customization or correction to fit your individual companies needs—room for improvement with forced double entry when the software should be more intuitive. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about LMN?

It provides unique discipline on the stuff that I can control my co-worker, the status of the task are being checked by the executives. Easy to upload the information that others could benefit from the online library. It has a user-friendly interface that does not take much time to get into the working process. I have concerns about the price that I do consider LMN as expensive. Before running our startup, we were struggling to afford LMN that It took time to have convenient revenue in order to have LMN. What do you like best about LMN?

The synergy between CRM, Estimating, Cataloging and real-time Time Tracking makes for seamless job costing and communication between the design, sales, production and administrative teams at our company. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about LMN?

The only knock I have on it is that it doesn't have it's own Accounting component. Not that I think about it though, it integrates with Quickbooks and the like... so why reinvent the wheel. I've been told it can get a bit cumbersome pushing accounting details to QBs though. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Recommendations to others considering LMN:

Give it a try, if it doesn't work for you [which I doubt will be a problem], you're out a very small investment vs some of the other management systems out there. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

From initial client contact to pretty much everything but the final billing... LMN seems to do it all. I like the easy access to new, updates, webinars and the like within the program.
