Lineupr is a very clear tool to provide participants of a conference with an "app" that informs them about all relevant information. We had an international conference with about 300 participants from 40 nations. After a very short time you could see that the mobile phones were being pulled out everywhere.
Setting up the "App": The creation of participants and events is quick and easy. Programming knowledge is not necessary. The total setup time was about two hours, but depends of course on the preliminary work. I was able to take and transfer existing lists. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
In my opinion and based on the feedback from the participants, the app is almost perfect. However, a few ideas would improve the usability even further:
- It would be very good if the underlying website could also be accessed via a PC in the same way. In fact, not all people still have a smartphone. It would then also be possible to compile your favorites list on the big screen at home.
- It would be very good if events could be searched not only by category, but also by keyword. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

We used the LineUpr app to communicate our festival programme. For five days, 30,000 people used this service. The press, which reported on our festival, also praised the festival communication via the LineUpr app.
We are very satisfied with the user-friendliness of the app. It was clear, intuitive and easy to use, both for our employees who entered the data records and for the visitors. If questions did arise, a contact person in the app was there to help and we could easily reach them by email or phone. Another plus is the push notifications that can be set and saved in advance. The interactivity is just as good. Guests could save events and mark artists with a heart. This made it possible to estimate in advance how popular the concert would be. As the app is well structured, many individual dates can be easily entered and changed. We were also able to incorporate our CI, for example our colours, into the app. We advertised around 250 events over 5 days in 8 rooms. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

For us as a foundation and our main audience being German public administration, it is most important to have a tool whose servers are in Germany, that is usable without having to download an app or register an account, whose features are modular, that is easy to set up and affordable. The event app and the backend did not only keep what LineUpr promised, it worked even easier and better. Smart copying options, easy drag & drop functions and an intuitive setup made it easy and flexible to work with LineUpr. What is best is that the users do not have to install an app and that all the program data is available even offline. The import/export function saves tons of time and makes updates easy, even in volatile pandemic conditions. It's also great to have a streaming function for online parts of the event. Integrating the assignment of images to the upload function would be very much appreciated, also a more flexible handling of online or hybrid events... but guess what: That's what their latest newsletter announced recently for next year! One remaining detail to improve: When you enter the starting date of a program item, the ending date should jump to the starting date and not remain on the default value. The app is easy to set up and intuitive to use; content can be loaded via Excel spreadsheet, which is a huge time saver. The feature to post announcements makes conveying reminders and program changes easy and efficient. I received many compliments on the app from our conference attendees.
