One of the best things is that I do not have to write lengthy invoices copying strings of numbers, and payment is automatic. The new look of Statistics and the fact that most reviews are available later too are a very good bonus. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Addressing ppl in the informal or the formal conjugation should be decided before we start the translation process or post-editing. It will have consequences in more important languages like Spanish, Russian, French or German, too.
I do not know how exactly screen time is computed. But despite my attempts at control, it still happens to me sometimes that I leave the Tool on while I am researching something. That should not inflate statistics as long as the surface is inactive for a while.
There should be some way to rearrange a longer sentence with the tags. Hungarian would many times prefer an entirely different structure to sound natural but it would take me a very long time to figure out where the tags should go so I leave it trying to adjust to English preferences in structure.
Last, but not least, the QA process is severely damaged. QA is asking me to provide the exact equivalent of English words such as "the", "we" and "for". Hungarian does not use prepositions, and we do not use pronouns with verbs (except when we want to emphasize the subject in contrast to somebody else. Sometimes we use an article where English does not and the reverse is also true. In other words, translating itself is judged by the QA process as an error. A similar thing is when the punctuation is different due to different habits of the two languages.
Three-letter abbreviations are more and more frequent in English, they should be in a glossary - always. Otherwise it takes lengthy research to find out what is the likely solution. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Their Invoicing system makes our lives easy. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I like working on trados more than Lilt platform. On an offline platform we always have a better speed. There are no time-out issues. Then the way Trados provides suggestions is very different and better than Lilt platform. I also would like to mention that since I have been part of just one project, maybe I am not that habitual to it.
I also do not know about the system of how the projects are assigned. I have been on Lilt's list for a long time but do not know why I was not considered for any more projects. There should be some income every month (even if it is less) which motivates us to get connected and active.
I am very much interested in another project with Lilt and I am also open to any feedback as feedback helps us to grow. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

They seem to have an easy-going approach to everyday processes and interaction with partners, and they offer interesting projects. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I miss more interaction or support from a dedicated PM for the specific project I work on. I am currently working on a continuous localization project, and some reference files were provided at the start of this project, but the files come automatically through the platform, so there is no engagement with anybody if needed. The main project glossary sheet has not been updated, and I don't know who to ask to get it updated or send a query regarding terminology issues. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

PMs are doing a great job. They are responsive, pay attention to details, and maintain positive attitudes. Their platform is very well-organized and easy to use. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The IT department is not helpful by design. It is unclear when I should ask for help from IT and when I should directly contact PMs. When I submit a ticket, their TAT is kind of slow (more than 24 hours); in most cases, it is too late to deliver the work on time. In contrast, PMs responded very quickly and they can solve most of my issues.
Also, I do care about their new review procedure; it requires reviewers to click too many categories and slows me down to review. And I feel like these too many categories do not necessarily help translators to improve their translation. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Their Machine Translation software is perfect to verify if there is consistency in our Translation.
I also enjoy the Q&A session for proofreading.
The verification process before we complete a task is good for review. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I don't like some little issues related to the AI process verification... It doesn't allow the Translators to review as a human the whole content.
This week particularly, I received an assignment but I saw some bad Translation made by someone else or AI tool in the platform.
When we tried to correct it, it reappear and sometimes refuse to accept corrections. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

It allows me to translate/review text in a platform that features several tools at the same platform: contextual MT translation assisted by AI, Terminology, Translations memory management, Quality Assurance & Spelling compulsory automatic checks, Automatic segments populations...
The interface is very intuitive and easy to use, and one thing I really appreciate form LILT is that I can work from anywhere in the world with any computer, no need to instal anything. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The interface still need some improvements. I would like that we, the editors, could move the text by selecting it and dragging it to another position, for example. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Lilt is one of the more advanced MT systems I have worked on. The predictions consider the context and human input rather than relying solely on TB. I also use other MT platforms such as MemoQ. Comparatively, Lilt has a lot of advantage which will only get even better with more data added daily from a variety of projects. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
1. The batch QA for Chinese languages highlight a lot of irrelevant warnings, for example:
a. target is shorter than source (these warnings are mostly unnecessary as Chinese is a more concise language.)
b. in some projects, no match found for a source phrase due to capitalisation (these warnings are mostly redundant as Chinese is never capitalised.)
c. suggestions for replacing certain characters or using certain expressions e.g. 地 for 的 or vice versa, 量词, number matches (I find most suggestions not very useful)
d. missing white spaces around characters (Full-width punctuation marks are used in Chinese writing therefore no need to use spaces, therefore these warnings are unnecessary.)
I hope this can be improved going forward so that the QA stage can become more efficient for Chinese.
2. Concordance search returns a varied result. TB update should be done more regularly and should aim to rank by the latest client's feedbacks a lot more clearly. I often find inconsistent translations in concordance searches which slow me down. I need to examine all the results that come up to identify the more consistent term, and sometimes still unsure which one to use.
3. Sometimes the revision report shows no data when I click open it from the email. I am not sure if this is because the project has been delivered. I think revision reports should remain available for at least a week for translators so that they have more time to go through it and improve their translation quality based on the feedback.
4. I really appreciate the efforts made in improving payment transparency, however, I still find it difficult to track payments for certain ongoing projects that take a long time to deliver. The payment stub still remains quite technical looking rather than showing information clearly across delivered projects and the time periods. I believe a breakdown with more detailed information about payments can be really helpful. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Transparent work process, interesting project/client Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I get emails from PMs looking for someone to take small work for a short deadline. It is sometimes very small work, less than 100 words. It takes time for me to learn about the project but I ended up getting less than $5. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Job allocation is easy. PMs are very friendly and easy to work with. Feedbacks and queries are always answered. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Job platform is a bit of a learning curve. It's not easy to navigate to the certain functions, including payment sections. For example, it's not possible to check your service rate by yourself and you have to contact the accounting team in that regard. That's a bit of a work. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
They are quick, professional and offer a steady workload. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Lilt was a great LSP until they revised their processes and forced me to lower my rates in a HUGE manner. No negotiation, no consideration for quality (I worked more than 3 years with them on a weekly basis).
By telephone and by mail, they explicitly said my quality was far above the average and I was a loved linguist, but they couldn't work with my rates anymore and they should lower or leave. No room for negotiation or for any other solution. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
