The user friendly interface for our staff is second to none. The reporting, especially the Business Intelligence makes those guessing game decisions easier and more reliable. And the customer support is by far the easiest I have ever worked with. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The tee sheet is so easy to use. Reports in Lightspeed Retail are excellent with many to choose from to analyze my business. The service from Lightspeed is outstanding. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
There are a few bugs that could use correcting. If I modify a price on the tee sheet, I have to hit SAVE before taking a sale to Lightspeed Retail for payment. I've had the occasional difficulty adding information to a customer's database. For example, if I want to add a phone number to a customer already in my database. If the number already exists in the system, I cannot find who it belongs to and can't add it to the customer I want. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
We have been using Lightspeed for two seasons now. The software is very intuitive and simple to pick up for all staff with minimal training. Support from Lightspeed for any issues is super prompt (minutes) and resolution is always quick and easy. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I admire the company's progression when it comes to partnering up with other great platforms and offering that service at an outstanding price. We Started with Lightspeed golf and retail and now have F&B, Quote Machine, Accounting integration, Loyalty Program and Ecom. I have done my research and lightspeed is that 1 stop shop company that makes billing super easy and they have a great support staff to help you as well. 1 downside would be you need 2 accounts if you are running a Beverage Cart and Restaurant. It would be nice to have that integration all under 1 account for tracking and reporting purposes. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

LS Golf is progressive when it comes to introducing new features that boost operations in the Pro Shop. Their tee sheet is extremely powerful; anything a golf course wishes to implement is easy to do so with LS Golf. Price Sheets allow detailed separation of different player types, which helps implement pricing strategies. The chat feature is great for Pro Shop employees to have questions answered when a manager is not in or does not have time. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
There have been a few mishaps where the system goes down for short periods of time; this has been inconvenient when in the middle of a busy day at the golf course. There is an online event registration module that LS Golf has that could be improved. It is not as seamless as golf courses would want it to be (ie. someone should be able to register online, pay with a credit card, and the sale then goes through separated into the necessary inventory parts in the back end of our system). Lightspeed golf has the best support team. Their responsiveness, knowledge and desire to get the issue resolved is far superior to any other software company. If we have a product need that is not currently met by the software, the support team submits a request to the development team to place in the queue for future improvements. As a private course, there are a few public facing features in Lightspeed Golf which we cannot disable. However, we have found ways to work around these areas. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The best part of lightspeed is you can customize it in very different ways. It is a one-stop-shop for all your needs to take your operation to the next level, which you can't do with many other POS systems. Email marketing is my best source of reaching my customers. I can easily set up campaigns to keep the customers coming back. The customer service is second to none.
