I love the self-service NDA portal, which is the most impactful feature for my daily workflow, allowing me to generate standard nondisclosure agreements on my own without needing a lawyer to touch every single one, saving massive time. I also value the status dashboard, which lets me quickly see the current state of all my open items at a glance. Additionally, the ability to reference past conversations and historical notes directly within the matter file means I never lose the context of why a certain decision was made six months ago. One challenge we faced early on was the granularity of the permissioning system. At the start, it took a while for our admin team to figure out the different access levels. For a few weeks, marketing and business users couldn't actually view any attachments within the tickets they opened, which made the review process very difficult. We felt like we were working half blind. Thankfully, LawVu has since updated its business user permissions and that issue has been fully resolved. I really appreciate the seamless collaboration and tagging system in LawVu. Being able to tag specific red lines within the platform is incredibly efficient. The Adobe Sign and DocuSign integration is a massive time saver for me, allowing documents to be sent for signature directly and then saved back to the matter automatically. I also love that I can initiate a request from my email and continue the conversation in LawVu, which provides a far more reliable audit trail for contracts and legal decisions. The setup was incredibly straightforward; I was able to submit my first contract within five minutes due to the user-friendly interface that didn't require a manual or a long training session. I really like the spend management and legal service billing tracker in LawVu. Monitoring our legal service provider's total billing in real-time gives us a massive advantage for budget oversight. The customer support has been exceptional, offering true 24/7 support, which is pretty rare. The training we received was top-notch, and our implementation manager, Sophie, was absolutely lovely and incredibly patient, ensuring all our workflow questions were answered. The setup was incredibly well organized, accommodating our schedules and providing detailed guidance. The ability to customize folders for our specific legal providers made the migration phase feel more like an organizational exercise. I find LawVu's intuitive user interface and ease of use incredibly valuable. The way LawVu centralizes files while remaining easy to navigate is key to keeping our department running smoothly. If I had to pinpoint a frustration, it would definitely be the current workflow within the spend management feature. Right now, the process feels a bit more manual than it needs to be. I find it slightly tedious that we have to enter every single invoice individually, and then wait for a multi-step approval process to clear. I would much prefer a feature that allows us to input a total project budget or a lump sum upfront against a matter. It would save us a lot of clicks if the system could just deduct from a preapproved pool rather than requiring a granular one by one entry for every billable event. LawVu is one of the few providers on the market that offers both matter management and contract management in one solution. A Word add-in allows a link to be established between the files and the edited documents, including versioning and text comparison. The user interface appears tidy, and the operation is overall intuitive. What the system does not immediately cover itself can be sensibly supplemented through integrations and additional modules. LawVu has been exceptional from start to finish — their commitment and customer service have been consistent from sales through to implementation and ongoing support. It’s rare to see a vendor maintain the same level of care after the sale.

For our Legal team, generic project management tools never quite fit the bill. LawVu provides exactly what we needed to track and manage legal work effectively. The business portal is also a standout feature — it’s available to everyone in the organisation at no extra cost, which has made engagement with the broader organisation much easier.
