I love the self-service NDA portal, which is the most impactful feature for my daily workflow, allowing me to generate standard nondisclosure agreements on my own without needing a lawyer to touch every single one, saving massive time. I also value the status dashboard, which lets me quickly see the current state of all my open items at a glance. Additionally, the ability to reference past conversations and historical notes directly within the matter file means I never lose the context of why a certain decision was made six months ago. One challenge we faced early on was the granularity of the permissioning system. At the start, it took a while for our admin team to figure out the different access levels. For a few weeks, marketing and business users couldn't actually view any attachments within the tickets they opened, which made the review process very difficult. We felt like we were working half blind. Thankfully, LawVu has since updated its business user permissions and that issue has been fully resolved.
