What I like most about Lambda Test is its easy to use. Lambda testing helps to test website on many different browsers, and it also helps to perform automated testing with Selenium which helps to save a lot of time and advantage is if need any help if have customer support Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Every time I try to log in, I encountered an error message as "Something went wrong in the dashboard." and after refreshing I was able to proceed, I also had trouble with taking screenshots and recording the screen during my sessions. it wasn't working as expected. I was not able to capture.
Another issue I ran into was with the resolution settings. It seemed like the resolution wasn’t displayed properly, Network Connectivity Issues: On 2G or 3G networks, a "No Data Connection" message is displayed, potentially persisting even after switching networks. The same issue occurs when switching between different networks Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
When we first looked at LambdaTest, there was only one apparent "benefit" - the price. Compared to more established tools like Saucelabs and BrowserStack etc, LambdaTest seemed like a budget-friendly alternative that promised to save us money. The lower pricing was attractive, especially for a small team working with limited resources.
We thought we'd found a smart cost-cutting solution. The initial price point looked tempting, and we believed we could get similar testing capabilities at a fraction of the cost of other platforms. It seemed like a clever financial decision - trading a few minor inconveniences for significant savings.
But here's the harsh truth: what we saved in dollars, we've lost exponentially in time, frustration, and potential product quality. The cheap price tag turned out to be a massive false economy. Every hour spent struggling with LambdaTest's poor performance, unreliable testing, and terrible support has cost us far more than the money we initially hoped to save. I was hoping for a solid testing tool that would help me check my website across different devices. What a joke! LambdaTest barely has any real devices. It's like trying to paint a masterpiece with a broken crayon. The emulators? They're so far from reality that they might as well be from another planet. want to know how your site really looks on an iPhone or Android? Good luck with LambdaTest - you won't find out here. Their customer support is like a ghost - present everywhere, but absolutely useless. I've had faster responses from a snail mail. When I reached out with serious issues, I got. You'd think with their cheap pricing (as compared to BrowserStack as per my initial research while suggesting to my company), you'd get a top-notch service. Instead, you get a broken tool that makes your job harder, not easier. I've seen better functionality in free tools made by college students. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Seriously, LambdaTest has been a life saver for our team. We were really struggling with setting up different test environments for all the browsers and OS versions we needed, and it was a total wasting lot of time for our team. Now? We just hop on LambdaTest through google results, and boom, we were able to test everything. The real time testing is super smooth, no lag or anything, and our automated tests run smoothly also.
What I really loved, though, was how it integrates with all our tools like Jira, Slack, GitHub - it's all connected smoothly. Moreover reporting bugs is actually… dare I say… easy? And running tests in parallel? That's saved us hours of work. Live testing is pretty sweet too, just being able to jump in and see things firsthand saves a lot of time and efforts. Okay, so if I had to pick something, I'd say the test speeds on the cheaper plans can be a bit... leisurely. It's not
terrible, but you definitely notice it if you're used to things moving fast. But honestly, for what you're getting, it's a pretty small price to pay. The platform is just so good overall. I'm hoping they'll keep tweaking things and making it even snappier, because if they do, it'll be absolutely perfect! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The thing which I like about lambda test is it has wide range of devices for both platforms Android as well as iOS, which makes testing a lot easier without actually owning those devices. We can also set different custom configuration for devices which help in testing the edge case and also helps in testing wide range of features on different devices. The thing which I dislike about lambda test is the learning curve for advance features like customisation of test devices feels a bit complex, the other thing which I dislike is sometimes there is a latency in devices. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I really like how LambdaTest makes cross-browser testing simple and efficient. Wide range of browsers and devices helps ensure that websites look great everywhere. The interface is easy to use, and integrations with tools like Selenium and GitHub make the workflow smoother. It is also great to be able to test different screen sizes without needing actual devices. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Sometimes, LambdaTest can be a bit slow when loading browsers or running tests. There are also occasional connection issues that can interrupt work. Pricing might feel a little high for small team or freelancers. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I really like how I can see the website I developed on different devices through LambdaTest. It actually recreates the devices experience not just the resolutions.
I can see the difference in CSS issue that are on Apple device and not of Windows by just using a windows device by using LambdaTest. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I haven't really found any downsides. But I would suggest a better way to to view screen in LambdaTest Browser like full screen to view content better as of now it show physical device that great but a way to view the the device screen full would be wonderful. Lambdatest at the free tier was great when I wanted to test a app on the platform. It's implementation of devices is really nice and the customer support helped me a lot when I ran into a issue with one of their devices. Other than that it was really easy to use due to it's integration into web browsers not requiring additional software to run as it only needs a web browser. I used it about twice a week simply to test on real devices. It has a surprising amount of features for something you don't need to pay to use. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I find at the free tier the time per device could be longer however can't complain given it's free I suppose. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

In my opinion, the button that opens the browser console is in an unintuitive location, and it was hard to find it the first time.
If the user does not use the virtual device for about 2 or 3 minutes, he is automatically disconnected. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
LambdaTest will make cross-browser testing simple, which is what I enjoy about it. I no longer have to worry about compatibility concerns because it supports a wide range of browsers and versions. The live testing tool is also quite helpful, and I don't notice much lag during these sessions, so it's a huge plus. Compared to creating my own environments, this saves me time. The browser session can occasionally lag using LambdaTest, which is something I don't like, especially when testing on older browser versions. When you're in a rush, it can be a little annoying, but it's not a deal-breaker. Additionally, novice users may find the user interface (UI) a little daunting at first; it took me some time to figure out where everything was. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
LambdaTest is one tool in particular that I have found to be really helpful. I adore how it streamlines the process of cross-browser testing. It is incredibly effective, reliable, and compatible with nearly all browsers and devices. We could also talk on the features that link to GitHub and Jira, which make my job easier. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Although LambdaTest is an excellent tool overall, I believe that the session duration constraints for free plans can be very restrictive for extended testing sessions. I've been using this tool a lot, and it's fantastic. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
