**What problems is Perfecto solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Automation Compatibility: Perfecto integrates with popular test automation frameworks like Selenium and Appium, facilitating the automation of test scripts for increased efficiency

  ### 2. Perfecto Is Very Useful

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** ryan s. | Automation Developer Analyst Sr, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 02, 2022

**What do you like best about Perfecto?**

I like being able to have a large amount of devices. The features I like the best are being able to watch live video and being able to search for text or images using Object Spy.

**What do you dislike about Perfecto?**

Runs slower than I would like. That being said, this is partly due to our framework, so we have some work to do, But still slower than I would like. Seems like making connections to services could be sped up.

**Recommendations to others considering Perfecto:**

Do it!

It really works. Easy to use. Good for mobile testing.

**What problems is Perfecto solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are solving the issue of having so many devices laying around the office for testing. This way people from anywhere can access the devices. Aditionally, we are solving the issue of people spending time to run tests manually.

  ### 3. Perfecto Review

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Hospital & Health Care | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 25, 2022

**What do you like best about Perfecto?**

We have the ability to access multiple mobile devices shared among multiple people. These devices can be either iOS or Android. Multiple people in the organization can have access to these devices so individuals do not need to purchase their own devices for any work/testing they require. There are also shared devices in the Perfecto cloud we can also use.

**What do you dislike about Perfecto?**

When we encounter problems with the devices we need to write a ticket and there are times when the issue we are having does not get resolved for a while, even when all that is needed is a device reset.

**What problems is Perfecto solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are able to run over 150 automated tests nightly on up to 15 devices. We also can run smoke testing on the production runs to monitor the availability of the applications for our users. This helps us find problems earlier in order to avoid the most user problems.

  ### 4. Good, quick support

Tickets response time is quick and the dedicated customer manager helps to resolve issues. We are able to add most of the devices to the inventory. Very low downtime.

**What do you dislike about Perfecto?**

**What problems is Perfecto solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We have offshore teams who need to access multiple devices and its not possible to send them physical devices. Also, perfecto helps with mobile automation, which cant be achieved in a physical device.

**Reviewed Date:** January 19, 2022

Perfecto's UI is user-friendly and easy to navigate and use. Bringing it into our automation frameworks (via Appium) has also been relatively straightforward. Issues are dealt with promptly and efficiently by Perfecto support.

**What do you dislike about Perfecto?**

Initial observations by our Non-functional team have been mixed. Device vitals are not always available, and the documentation on these features can be a bit light.

  ### 13. Review of Perfecto by Joshua

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 01, 2021

**What do you like best about Perfecto?**

There are many things I like about Perfecto and how it is run.
The main components that I like are:
- C I Dashboard
- API documentation
- The creation of the Perfecto App so I didn't lose the "Old Lab"
- The Perfecto Support turn around time

There are many components that I take for granted as well that I like that may not be assumed:
- Being able to watch live streams
- Being able to launch the device manually and do anything I want for testing
- Being able to see the report library
- Videos are always recorded on the devices

**What do you dislike about Perfecto?**

There are a few feature requests that I would love to have:
- Actively, there are no alerts from CI Dashboards - I would like to be able to set custom alerts to my email if a certain threshold has failed
- The new Asset pages can not have folders created. In the previous old app, there was a way to create a directory tree of folders (now has changed to Locators - which is fine), but I just want to create a top level folder so I don't see "All iOS apps" or "All android apps"
- I would like to save videos and rename them for future use. This would be good for us since "this is what the baseline looked like, lets keep it and see what are runs differ in future if we ever have an issue".

Another thing that happens a lot for us is:
- Android devices go into IN ERROR state very much.

**What problems is Perfecto solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are trying to run Performance tests on Perfecto on real devices. This benefit has allowed us to get numbers fast, and in a realistic manner.

  ### 14. Perfecto cloud features support program needs and their engagement model

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

onboard devices in speed with market demands

CSM provides updates regularly and proactive in answering the customer needs.

**What do you dislike about Perfecto?**

1. Cost is more compared to competitors
2. Slow in implementing feature requests
3. Inconsistent performance

**What problems is Perfecto solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Provides vast variety of devices to meet program needs. This helps to cover most of testing meeting user and business needs.

There are problems such as the cost and approvals needed to set up labs in multiple regions that are solved by using Perfecto.

  ### 21. Great experience with mobile tests

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Medical Devices | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 22, 2020

**What do you like best about Perfecto?**

Perfecto manages the devices on the cloud very well and gives additional capabilities to control the device which are not possible through open source solutions.

**What do you dislike about Perfecto?**

Sometimes devices in the cloud become unresponsive randomly.

  ### 22. A useful mobile testing tool

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ajit P. | Software Developer, Computer Software, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 26, 2016

**What do you like best about Perfecto?**

Automation of mobile websites is quickly becoming common practice and Perfecto seems to be one of the leaders in this field. Among many other amazing features, the ones I liked the best are:
(1) Large selection of mobile devices and OS versions
(2) REST API for integration with other interfaces

**What do you dislike about Perfecto?**

What I disliked most is that it was sometime laggy and slow. Given that their services are cloud-based, this might be reasonable in some sense. However, I'm sure they have fixes in the pipeline to do something about this.

**Recommendations to others considering Perfecto:**

Make sure you understand that you are using a tool based on proprietary TCL-based language. If you are coming from open-source tools, then you might need to re-write the tests. The benefits of doing so are worth it though.

**What problems is Perfecto solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Clearly, the biggest reason for using it was to test our app across multiple platforms (and devices) without needing to own one. Some of our testers are not strictly speaking "programmers" and the use of a native UI allows them to test user behavior without any coding and write the expected results in plain English.

  ### 23. Perfecto: excellent support and user community, documentation

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Media Production | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 24, 2016

**What do you like best about Perfecto?**

Perfecto has an excellent support staff, community and documentation and issues are handled in a timely fashion. The suite of devices is extensive and the overall network is reliable.

**What do you dislike about Perfecto?**

We would like to see more geographic coverage of networks and devices in Asia. Also, some other tools transfer URLs from device to device; with Perfecto, the URL needs to be input each time a new device is opened.

**Recommendations to others considering Perfecto:**

Perfecto is gracious in allowing a trial period. Run tests and ask plenty of questions; they are very responsive and point you in the right direction.

**What problems is Perfecto solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Our number one priority is test coverage on a wide variety of devices, networks and geographic locations. In this respect, Perfecto fits the bill. We save time and development costs by quickly testing and debugging issues.

  ### 24. Good Experience

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Prachi G. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 24, 2016

**What do you like best about Perfecto?**

It is extraordinary for snappy survey cycles at short notice, to supplement our QA groups with extra expansiveness and scope. Easy to setup virtual gadgets and use. There are such a large number of stages, gadgets, and OS changes that running these completely in-house is a comprehensive and costly approach.

**What do you dislike about Perfecto?**

The client interface is exceptionally befuddling. As we all know, the time expense of an application's advancement will take a while notwithstanding for little activities or much more.

**What problems is Perfecto solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It has permitted myself and my organization to test our new portable applications (particularly, iOS) on an assortment of gadgets that we didn't have accessible. Perfecto has likewise gone well beyond by helping us analyze our audits.

  ### 25. Nice tool for cross platform mobile testing, it goes beyond general emulators

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Chayanika p. | Quality Analyst, Information Technology and Services, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 19, 2016

**What do you like best about Perfecto?**

Among many amazing features which I liked and used are -
- It has got all sorts of mobile devices and operation system versions to choose from.
- It has got an utility which allows quickly key in long text
- Zoom in/out, landscape/portrait view, take snapshot are other features which gives you other real device like options to carry out mobile testing extensively.

**What do you dislike about Perfecto?**

Here are few deterrents -
1) Reponse time is way slower than real device, need a lot of patience.
2) It didn't work for me on while I was on my companies VPN.

**What problems is Perfecto solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I was telecommuting and had to do native and responsive design testing across various mobile platforms and it wasn't feasible to have physical access to all different mobile devices, there are tools which allows you to test responsiveness at different breakpoints, but no other mobile specific features can be tested.

That being said the greatest value I realized is that it enables you to do realistic mobile testing without having to have physical access to those devices.
