LabVIEW Demo - Reduce System Setup Time by Connecting to Virtually Any Hardware
LabVIEW gives you the ability to acquire data from thousands of third-party benchtop and modular instruments over any bus—such as USB, Ethernet, serial, and GPIB—with a library of instrument drivers that typically include APIs, example programs, and documentation.
LabVIEW Demo - Quickly Visualize Test Outcomes with LabVIEW
You can create custom user interfaces with a comprehensive collection of drag-and-drop objects specifically built for engineering applications. And then integrate the test outcomes from all your instruments into one view to make your decisions faster.
LabVIEW Demo - Get Instant Insights From Measurement Data with LabVIEW
With LabVIEW, you can turn your raw data into measurement insights by using 1,000+ built-in, drag-and-drop analysis functions or reusing your existing code such as C/C++/C#.
LabVIEW Demo - Intuitive Graphical Programming in LabVIEW
LabVIEW offers a graphical programming approach that helps you visualize every aspect of your application, including hardware configuration, measurement data, and debugging. "Use good tools so that you can focus on your application specific development"
What do you like best about LabVIEW?

Many features save you time in development: FPGA, maps, off the shelf hardware Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about LabVIEW?

Very expensive in OEM situations. I needed help debugging a linux issue and it was very difficult to do that and poorly supported from R&D. UI is too tightly coupled to code. Supply chain issues with sbRIOs has been a challenge. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Developing since 4 years ago."
What do you like best about LabVIEW?

It is very easy to develop a full program from scratch. And it is very simple to debug a program in case there are some errors.

Labview has a lot of tools that allows to compile and release a software Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about LabVIEW?

If you have no idea of how Labview works, sometimes it is a little complicated to understand the program flow.

The weakest point is the cost of the license. The cost is to high. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Best tool for creating quick & reliable test"
What do you like best about LabVIEW?

Relatively low entry to software creation and a lot of fool proof items allowing execution without worrying to much; easy debugging; a lot of ready interface drivers for equipment. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about LabVIEW?

As easy to program, as easy to make mistakes and "dirty" code not suitable for rework and maintenance; block diagram can be hard to read in large applications; execution speed for time critical applications is not on top with lower level languages. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Multiple equipment management with lab view"
What do you like best about LabVIEW?

Lab View can be connected with multiple device and can control all of them at once. This feature along with visual basic based back panel for coding the experiment is the best of Lab view. This feature allows any one with minimal knowledge of lab view to customize and run his or her own experiments Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about LabVIEW?

There is nothing that is to dislike with lab view, their search and explore help in identifying the right command for right experiment. Lab view also updates their software often and is in process of improving all the features that will make it look more pleasant more user friendly. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"LabVIEW Experience"
What do you like best about LabVIEW?

It will be a straightforward graphical programming language. It has very big community support groups.

LabVIEW Has examples models which help users to understand the concept about programming. LabVIEW has variour architectures to develop our applicaiton.

It provides parallel loop execution. so we can execute the many task simulatanesouly at the same time with different execution rate.

LabVIEW's user interface module is user frendly. we can easily design the use friendly in simple drag and drop method. In some text based programming, we need to write plenty of codes to design theuse interface and positions.

Recent past, LabVIEW is supporting machine learning modules also. so experienced engineers dont want to learn the new programming language, they can easily use AI or Machine learning in LabVIEW also. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about LabVIEW?

Its license cost is very huge. Its runtime engine and drivers required more space in Harddisk. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"awesome when it comes to data acquisition"
What do you like best about LabVIEW?

Easy to use, pretty powerful. You can develop an application in a matter of hours. Very stable and robust. A lot of support online, a lot of courses as well. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about LabVIEW?

do I need to say it? Really? Price is insanely high. NI is out of its mind when it comes to price either their software as well as the NI module hardwares. You have to be willing to break the bank to be able to get their stuff. it is not rare to spend 10k plus dollars in a very modest and simple NI hardware-software configuration.

Their certifications are a ripoff. You have to renew them every couple of years (it comes with a fee). Test certifications are intentionally made to not let you finish on time, making you fail several times before getting approve so you have to pay the fee over and over. "LabVIEW Review"
What do you like best about LabVIEW?

I like the ease of use, as well as a community that is responsive to issues. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about LabVIEW?

Some things do not have quick solutions and it takes time to figure out what is wrong. The error handling does not help too much in some of these situations, as the errors give a number that is difficult to look up online. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"LabVIEW and Its vast uses"
What do you like best about LabVIEW?

We use LabVEW everywhere in our lab environment. It is beneficial when collecting data in real-time and exporting everything to excel. I have not run into a device that I could not use Labview to control and or manipulate Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about LabVIEW?

The least helpful thing about LabVIEW would be learning all its little quirks. Sometimes a specific install file needs to be in a precise location to get the addons working. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"LabVIEW - perfect for all our atomic layer deposition needs!"
What do you like best about LabVIEW?

LabVIEW allows for proper customization of the software in a way that makes it useful for our deposition process. We are in the business of making thin films and LabVIEW gives us remote control of the inner process in a very quick and intuitive manner. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about LabVIEW?

Sometimes the software does have a communication issue with the computer in the middle of our process. Some valves may not properly open/close or some stay open. I believe this occurs mainly after a power outage sometimes, but not always. This can be tricky for some of our processes and gives some distrust in the software, but 9.5/10 it will work exactly as expected and I am always around to monitor the pulses. "Labview: A great system to save on total development costs."
What do you like best about LabVIEW?

Labview is flexible, easy to use, and cost-effective; (after the initial sunk investment). Since the programming interface is visual, transfering work to other engineers and conveying design intent is more quickly accomplished. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about LabVIEW?

I'm not a big fan of National Instrument's push to a software subscription model. If I could have my wishes, I would hope that National Instrument's business model would allow for a bit more openness on the hardware side. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
