There are many other virtual platforms out there today - however, Labster is different on many levels. Labster provides a challenging environment and diversified topics that are simply not found on other platforms. The gamification atmosphere is one that the students respond to. So, in a way, it is meeting the students where they are while at the same time enabling them to understand the content and explore labs that we just do not have the resources for them to conduct in a public school. While the virtual landscapes are beautiful, multi-layered, and provide real-world experiences for the students; sometimes they can be a little "too big" and glitch.
