I like the workflow editor integrated into Labguru. There is a bit of a learning curve to learning how to use workflows, but once understood, it is easy to automate tasks within the ELN.
The organization of the ELN makes sense - I enjoy how collections are structured and how easy it is to filter these collections to find data of interest.
Customer support is response, helpful, and friendly. I quickly get support with questions I have about website usage or programming workflows. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Loading times are too long - particularly for some important pages such as datasets. Some features are not used fully due to these long load times.
Tickets I submit for issues/bugs that are require more help than quick customer support take too long to be fulfilled.
There are serious design issues that could be critical risks such as allowing any user to delete a dataset and allowing any admin to delete the entire account. Greater control over user roles and permissions is needed. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Having used numerous digital tools in our lab operations, Labguru stands out, exceeding expectations on numerous fronts.
Ease of implementation- It was fairly easy to implement and if we had questions, the Labguru Customer Success team was there to help.
Ease of use- Very intuitive and easy to use. The platform keeps improving all the time. I love the user interface- it looks good and the user experience has improved lately.
Frequency of use- I use Labguru on daily basis and run all my lab activities via Labguru- from planning experiments to handling the data and samples.
Ease of integration- fairly easy and again the CS team is always there for you.
Inventory Management System is a great feature. It simplifies the tracking of laboratory resources, eliminating the traditional, tedious process of manual stock management. The system provides real-time updates on inventory levels, informing us when we're running low on essential items and need to re-order. Labguru supports the categorization of inventory, making it much easier to locate specific items when needed. It's an exceptional time-saver and efficiency booster!
One of the aspects we appreciate the most about Labguru is its excellent customer support, especially Meirav, Ilya, and Li-Or. Whether we've encountered issues or simply needed guidance on how to better utilize the platform, Labguru's customer support has consistently provided prompt and reliable service. They've proven to be a reliable partner, not just a service provider.
The automation capabilities in Labguru are a game-changer. Automating routine tasks has saved us a considerable amount of time and reduced the chance of human error. It also allows our team to focus more on complex tasks that require human intellect, making our operations more efficient and our work more gratifying. Lately, we felt the need to add some workflow automation. Labguru offers a handful of automation options in their catalog and they helped us implement the automation we wanted. Nothing. I think it's a great solution. Even if there are features we feel can be improved, they listen and come with a solution. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
LabGuru ELN LIMS offers a complete solution for your electronic notebook and LIMS needs. Not only is it easy to implement and easy (and logical) to use, but the customer support team is highly responsive and very effective in resolving any problems you may have or updating any features that you request. We use LabGuru daily for our ELN and LIMS needs, and the many extra features such as automation or label printing allow you to go above and beyond. I have already recommended this software to two other companies who were very happy with the advice and would continue to recommend it as an excellent and economical solution for ELN and LIMS needs. The LabHandy mobile app that goes along with LabGuru is still very basic and could be even more useful with additional features. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Labguru is very user friendly. Although there are still minor things to be tweaked, I like the appearance of the LIMS as a whole and how easy it is for our internal developers to use API and customise the LIMS to fit our needs. It is great with integration with our other sample collection system. It is very easy to import in samples and link experiment and reagent usage to each sample. All actions are tracked and there is a trail log which is super useful if needed for troubleshooting and also for the purpose of auditing and eventually accreditation of our lab. I like that we can customise to get notifications when reagents are running low and when items have expired in addition to when and what maintenance are due for each equipment. At the moment it seems that moving items between storage location is not very specific but this is on their list of things to do to make it better. When we have documents to upload for certain equipment, we cannot yet upload them to specific service date that is logged but only uploaded to the main equipment inventory page.
It would be useful to get notifications at a specified time prior to reagent expiring. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
For years we have look for an inventory management system however due to our unique needs we were not able to find a fit at an acceptable price point. After exploring several options, we found that Labguru offered something that was completely customizable with all the features of much more expensive alternatives. Having the ELN with the LIMS helps us not only track our production but also our screening and assay development. The documentation has made processes such as ISO9001 compliance an after thoughtwith the system also FDA /GLP compiant if needed. Communication within the system is easy allowing our groups to collaborate and stay informed on all processes. Automation has eliminated many manual daily processes keeping us organized, and allowing scientist to do science. Although the automation does require some coding in either Python or Ruby customer support has allowed myself a non-coder to develop much of the automation we need. Customer support has been excellent providing training and help with automation. Support is readily available within Labguru and very responsive answering questions within minutes or at most hours. The system is also not stangnant pushing forward by adding new features without breaking the old ones. From the business side our company still needs an ERP system however our NetSuite system has been easily integrated with Labguru. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
One can use the system out of the box but to get the full benefit it does require customization and automation. While the general automation is easy, dashboards are not as easily setup for complicated analysis and a non-coder like myself. They do offer many examples that can be edited for one's needs but visualization is somewhat basic. There is the option to now use widgets but this does require more coding background. Honestly the biggest challenge for us is not using the system but having people adopt the change. Once they do they do find that it does make their lives easier with minimal effort. You can call it up from anywhere, whether you're in the lab or in the office with mobile divice / laptop / tablet. Where there is reception, there is Labguru. No network is required, "only" internet. They have an excellent costumer support, short response time and always very friendly. If there is a problem, they make me feel that they are really interested to help me and change what is the problem. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
If there is an excel attachment in a protocol / experiment, you first have to download it before you can have a look at it. Something like a preview whould be great. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

There has been a slight learning curve (meaning, some things have not been entirely intuitive) with some of the inventory management terminology and data storage methods. But once that is grasped the inventory management feautres are quite robust. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I can't add a comment when consuming stock that is not part of an experiment.
For the experiment's plate map, I can use LabGuru's standard setup unless I have a special organization of samples on my plate. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
