I love being able to pop into my coworkers' offices and ask them questions, strike up conversations, and get to know them in ways that I don't have the opportunity to do regularly, since most of our staff works remotely. Kumo is user-friendly, and our whole office loves it. Everyone caught on very quickly and we were able to onboard our entire team in one day. We stay logged into Kumospace all day to allow availability to each other, and we use the away/focus modes to let others know when we are not available to chat. My only critique of Kumospace is that the screensharing feature is a little bit glitchy, and sometimes it causes members to lose connection briefly. I also wish that the size of the furniture/decorations could be edited to be bigger or smaller! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Kumospace is not just a video conference. It gives you a virtual office space that makes you feel connected to space and your co-workers who virtually sit in the same room or just a few pixels away from you. At first, I didn't believe it would make a difference compared to Zoom or Google Meet but it really does. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
At this point, nothing really. If I nitpick, it would be that I can set up music in a room (I like to work with quite background music) but it is a little more difficult than necessary to mute it when you want to have a conversation with someone coming to your office. A pause button like on the good 'ol stereo would be great, or even an automatism muting your music when someone else joins the room. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I like how i can feel close to my teams who are on whole different countries and communicate with them real-time. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
lack of features, I feel like there is still lots of room for Kumospace to grow. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It's nice to co-work with others in a fully remote company. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The social features are bland at best. Sharing music can only be done through Youtube and is EXTREMELY buggy. The app itself isn't great either. It's a huge bummer that co-working wasn't more well thought out. If they took from the likes of apps like Flow.Club and Focusmate, it'd be in a much better place. Kumospace highly interactive and engaging for learners of all levels, allowing student members the opportunity to design their own virtual meeting space. Through moveable avatars and sound controls, my students can move about their space freely and easily collaborate without the creation of isolating "breakout rooms." The birdseye view also allows me to monitor who is talking, when, and to whom. I can quickly "travel" from and to students with the click of a mouse, and chat directly to individual students, small groups, and the entire room. The smaller video boxes and avatars also seem to put students (and myself) more at ease when speaking than other programs that show close-up shots of speakers' entire faces. 1) The cost. For indivudal teachers without the financial support of their employers, Kumospace can be rather expensive. 2) The mobile app needs serious development, as it only seems to give users audio access. 3) Because of its many features, Kumospace can take a few moments to respond to user commands. 4) The video streaming is also not of the highest quality. I often send members links to watch videos on their own rather than stream them to the room. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
What I like most is the ease of editing places to work. Anyone can edit their office, but not someone else's. the sound quality is great, no zooms needed. t must be said that support is also at a high level. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
There is not enough space for offices :) We could go much more crazy with the space. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Promotes engagement and productivity in remote teams. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Technical and security issues. Crashes and slows down the application which affects productivity. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Kumospace has facilitated running our company from the comfort of our own home. We are able to give our employees, near and far, that same experience. It feels like we are all actually in an office. We love it! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I think pretty soon we will need a bigger space! And we would love some more holiday inspired decorations! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I absolutely love the immersive experience of Kumospace! It's amazing to be able to customize my own office and feel like I'm actually there with my team. Plus, the real-time aspect of it is a game-changer. No more waiting for someone to answer an email or join a Zoom call, I can just pop into their virtual office and get an answer right away. The only downside to Kumospace is that not everyone on my team is in the same timezone, so we can't all be in the virtual office at the same time. Also, the learning curve is not great, but it's not too hard to use once you get the hang of it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

We've used our office space for general office needs like meetings, popping into a coworker's office unannounced to chat quickly, and saying good morning to someone on your way into work. We've also used the office space to create a holiday party filled with interactive games, broadcasting announcements to the whole floor, and general office tomfoolery. Slack is great for keeping conversations on task, however, Kumospace has given the office more personality and ways to express ourselves. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I wish there was a sleeping mode. Even when you select that you're focusing or away, when people walk into your office, you can hear them speaking to you. If you leave your office open, it can be pretty scary hearing someone in my speakers in another room of my house. It would be great to mute people when you are selected as not available in office.
