What do you like best about Knit API?

Technology:

- Knit autosync and API services are very great, especially thier Data model based intergation method is very easy, so our dev team was able to complete integration within 72 hours.

- Also Knit made personalized APIs for our use case.

Cost:

- Knit is almost 15 times cheaper then our prevoius data connector provider which we used for getting data of our users from Chargebee onto our system.

- Also they gave us 50% discount on plan.

Time:

- We required Chargebee connector which wasn't present, but Knit made a new connector and data models for us, within week.

Support:

- The Technical team is very sound and responsive, and we just required 2-3 mails and 2 meeting for getting everything running.

- The Account manager team is also great, they provided us 1 month of free trail and helped us craft cost-effective plan according to our need. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Knit API?

Technology:

- Some APIs need get request from our server on regular intervals, to get data, I belive Knit can also use its auto-sync funcationality here.

What problems is Knit API solving and how is that benefiting you?

Knit provides us a Data connector to thrid party platforms like Chargebee, we have a dashboard where sellers are onboarded, but thier data like subscription plans, buyers data, etc. is on Chargebee. So to make onboarding smooth using Knit, our seller need to do one time access to Chargebee and then Knit would provide us thier data securly. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Product Description

Knit is a unified API that makes customer-facing integrations simpler and faster for B2B SaaS companies. Developers can now add entire categories of integrations (e.g. CRM, HRIS, Recruitment, Communication, Accounting) with a single Knit API. Knit also takes care of the entire integration lifecycle management and error handling. Knit is not only faster, it's safer too. We do not store any copy of your end-user data. Our data syncs are 100% event-driven and webhook based.

How do you position yourself against your competitors?

Knit is a security-first product built on a webhook-first architecture and doesn't store any copy/cache of client data. Additionally, it's compliant with GDPR, SOC2 Type II, and ISO 27001.

As Knit pushes data as events, you don't have to build any polling infrastructure on your end leading to less processing at the clients end and better support for realtime syncs

What do you like best about Knit API?

Definitely their support, the SAP integration has ton of details to work perfectly, but their support was there all times, even joining calls with our customer to make sure we get the integration working as intended and how easy it was to integrate our system to theirs and use it, the implementation was very quick and custom. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Knit API?

Not really sure anything stands out, the most of the issues we had was the process of integrating with SAP, but that is always painful because of the singularities of each integration, even with the problems we had, their support had it covered. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Knit API?

Knit is a great choice for inventors! Customizations are available from their proactive crew at an affordable price. Knit integrates with several HRIS systems effortlessly thanks to its uniform APIs and one data format. Furthermore, managing everything is made simple by their first-rate support and data synchronization. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Knit API?

Especially for HRIS, Knit benefits in terms of speed, dependability, and customization. However their API documentation might be more thorough, and their ERP connectivity choices are less extensive than those of their rivals. Better debugging tools would be nice to have, especially for payloads. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

It also streamlines the process for sellers by doing away with the need for manual data entry. I love how they make it easy to embed various APIs in a way that you can manage chaotic data flow in an easy manner. We could benefit from data from our ticketing system flowing into our other tools. This is one enrichment that we hope they add soon. This is again a wish and not a complaint. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

It takes significant developer time to integrate multiple APIs and keeping them up to date. Knit takes care of the heavy lifting and our developers can simply focus on developing for our business. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Knit API?

Because of its unified APIs, common data format that can be adjusted to work with various third-party integrators, data syncs—which are the best way to manage webhooks—and almost faultless support, Knit is the best choice for any HRIS system. You don't need to design an entire eco system to handle the incoming data from the knit; integration is quick and easy. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Knit API?

Data sync close to the real world adaptation. Currently it has sync frequencies for minimum 6 hours but that should be fine if you're not working on real data updates. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Knit API solving and how is that benefiting you?

Integrated user interface (UI) to facilitate integration with multiple third-party integrators with little script modifications, and unified APIs that support the backend through webhooks. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
