keyshot 11 is the latest version and it is used as 3D Paint and visualization, simulation, animation etc. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
nothing to dislike except the price hikes and AMC cost Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Keyshot is a great renderer it has a clean UI that is also easy to use, it has a library of materials and textures that can be applied to the 3d model, it also is very quick in rendering and the automatic positing of light makes the models look very clean and professional. Keyshot also has support for a lot of different extensions of 3d models that make it very convenient to use. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Keyshot is a great renderer but it still lacks in some minor features like keyshot is unable to detect multiple parts of a 3d model and usually mixes them together into one and since it considers it a single model, it is unable to assign different textures to different parts of a 3d model, it also has some minor glitches but they are usually fixed through regular updates. Very excellent for material appearance after rendering product will shows as actual time product not like the 3d modeling software rendering process. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Taking more time for rendering required high graphic and system requirements. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Keyshot is a great tool for quick renders and animations. The lighting rigs and textures make it super fast and simple to set up your scenes. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The complexity of textures leaves a little to be desired, but the textures can be tweaked to get what you want. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
able to do up a 3d rendering at a short time, also able to adjust a good lighting easily with a few clicks away. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
unable to editing the model directly on keyshot, in term of grouping and etc. have to group the file according to each color / material u desire. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The program itself is very easy to learn . Its layout and interface makes it quick and efficient and the rendering quality is top notch
|t provides a quick rendering of your project which gives you a realistic projection of what it would look like in real life.
It is a must have program for all people who work (or aspire to) in the professional design or engineering fields. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
the layer layout interface could be improved.
Maybe a quick modelling platform for quick editing could be helpful, but only if it does not compromise the speed of program itself.
(optional) it would be better if there were a more various selection of hdris for rendering.
Other than that there is very few things that Keyshot could do to improve that comes to mind. It is a very well rounded program that provides the user with just what s/he needs Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Super easy to set up from any CAD modelling system, great material and environment selection and easy to apply. You can go from model to photorealistic rendering or animation in minutes. I really like the cutaway function which makes it easy to show a section of a model in order to visualise internal parts, etc. The best part of it is that you can get high-quality results in seconds, I think most users will only need to spend little time but if you want to get even more realistic product shots, say for marketing purposes, you can spend a bit more time so that the rendering engine fully works out all the details in shadows and reflections. As opposed to some rendering software that I have used in the past where you need to wait for renders to fully complete before you see any results. KeyShot makes it a bit analogous to waiting for a cake to bake in the oven, you can always pull the cake out as soon as the result is acceptable to you :) Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
There's very little not to like about it. I guess that it could be made even better by adding more tutorials and examples for beginners to learn the tips and tricks of KeyShot. Also could e improved by having more varied demo scenes of objects/scenarios of different scales. The most difficult bt about KeyShot however is the price, the cost is a little bit much for the amount of use that we would get out of it, especially being less and less orientated in physical design. A pay-as-you-go license model could be a better solution for our needs. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Keyshot is very Cute! Simple to use and good enough to have some satisfying render shots. Some tools are very good, screenshots available, GPU rendering, cameras, lights, they are all good ENOUGH! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Keyshot needs a lot of updates on its options and features to have much better quality. Some tools give you an artificial result which is not good for everyone. in compare with some other renderers, keyshot options are look basic! You cant get very realistic results without using some other softwares and editors. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Keyshot takes care of lightning in an easy way, and lets you preview the result of your rendering before pressing the button. Being able to do short animations on the software is also great! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Not much. I can imagine people saying that Keyshot misses features for 3d creation, but it's exactly the simplicity of the interface and the focus on rendering that makes me like the product. The only problem I've encountered is that it's difficult sometimes to get rid of the noise artifacts in the final rendering. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
This software has excellent pre-made material and 3d texture, and you can use it as your UV or projection wise. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
This software viewport is not running smoothly in real-time. I faced some lagging, and one more thing gizmo is not user-friendly. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
