Keynote, for me, is an excellent presentation software that we use for all of our meetings, mainly for its simplicity but beautiful/stunning presentation. It is also super compatible with other presentation apps. If one of our employees writes some slides in Powerpoint, we can just drop those slides into Keynote with almost 0 compatibility issues. Keynote also features some great themes that make it easy to change for whatever type of meeting we may be having. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Although I like the number of master slides/themes a lot, I wish there were more to pick from. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Keynote is lucidly better than the other existing software with scores of template, create and edit slides, add animations and transitions, and has numerous charts, tables, and graphs to get your message across. When it comes to presenting scientific research, this is a must to use app. It gives you scores of eye-catching charts, tables and graphs with objects in your slides through animations and transitions. Recommend this app, without even single reservation!!! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I have been experiencing a bug that may be affecting other people as well. It has to do with moving stuff around on a slide. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Simplicity of use and design. Editing is easy and the side bar is easy to navigate, making the task at hand more efficient. Images are easily resized. I like that I can collage multiple the way that I like, select all and move to be centered/middled in that same design. I'm all about making the best use of my time and this program's design seems developed witht that in mind. Not to mention the elements are sleek. Visuals are important to me when choosing software. The slide bleeds all the way to the edge of the program. I don't know if this will make sense to others, but visually it's confusing to me. I like to see the full slide with a border around it to know where to stop, not the edge of the window. I know that my image has fallen off the slide when I no longer see it in the window, but it makes me think it's still there and I need to scroll to see it. I also wouldn't mind if the color picker didn't stay up when I was done with is. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

So easy to create beautiful presentations and design templates. I've even created full-on animations in this software. The alignment tool makes it easy to take a presentation to the next level, and the image editor is an easy tool to create another design consistency. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Would've been great if keynote was compatible with Microsoft PowerPoint, but considering that you can open PowerPoint files in Keynote, something tells me that Apple isn't the problem child here. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Due to security issues, we are not able to use Google Slides and Google Drive. Since most of the team uses Mac, we are able to use the collaboration features within Keynote to create slides for our clients, it's super helpful. The layouts, notes, software is super robust, we have massive presentations that run very fast on our oldest machines. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I do wish there was a more 'Google-Drive-esque' file management system, where I can easily browse and find my keynotes from anywhere, I think we can all agree that iCloud leave a lot to be desired there.
Additionally, for the few team members who need to use the web-app on a Windows machine, it's very slow and clunky for them. If you are not a Mac-only or Mac-heavy team, Keynote would not work Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
If you need a tool for presentation, it is often either between Microsoft Powerpoint, Google Sheets, and Keynotes. When comparing Keynotes to Google Sheets, Keynotes is far more superior since it is not 100% free, because Keynotes is only available for MacOS users and is not available for purchase for Windows computer. However, when talking about Microsoft Powerpoint, even if you are a MacOS user, unlike Keynotes you will have to pay for it.
Keynotes can basically do what Microsoft Powerpoint can do. However, what I like most about Keynotes would be the smoothness of the software. Since Keynotes is built by Apple and built just for its MacOS products, Keynotes run extremely smooth even for old Macbook or iMac like the Macbook Air 2015 that I'm using right now.
Other than the smoothness, similar to other Apple products, the user experience in using it would be the best. Everything is easy to locate, looks modern, contains all the necessary features, and good looking slides design. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The main thing that I dislike about Keynotes is sharing the presentation to non-Mac users. Therefore, I have to switch from using Keynotes to Powerpoint sometimes when I know that my audience or stakeholders only have Powerpoint or use Windows computer. Even though you can download files from Keynotes as PPTX, the format and animations set literally became a chaos. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

It is one of the best mobile used for the presentation. It allows to edit and add animations. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It's amazing, I don't have any cons for using the app Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I love how simple it is to use!!! It is very easy to understand. I love how I can customize anything and it looks so prefessional and clean!! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I dislike that when I am on "Play" mode in keynote and presenting on Zoom-- it acts very funky and freezes a lot and will not let me continue to my next slide with out exiting "play" mode and starting again! Not sure why it does tnhat, but it happens almost everytime I am presenting! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The interface is instantly familiar if you've used other products in Apple's "office" lineup (e.g. Numbers, Pages). Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
There are a few solid, modern-looking templates that I rely on. I wish they'd remove some of the older ones and introduce fresh templates more often. This is a minor criticism, though, since I use a very small number of templates in my work.
Compatibility with PowerPoint is okay. I think exporting to .ppt works better than importing a PowerPoint file. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

It is much cleaner and easier to use than PowerPoint. If you know what you're doing, you can do what you want with ease. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It is much cleaner than Microsoft PowerPoint, but it doesn't have a lot of the same animations and transitions. If it were a simpler version of PowerPoint, it would be great, but it takes getting used to. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
