Very good if you want a presentation that “pops” and is unique. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Because keynote is an Apple product, the UI is un-familiar to the average person. Some customization is also harder to handle compared to PowerPoint. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Keynote allows you to make beautiful presentations intuitively and easily. The most simple presentation will look professionally-made with Keynote Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I'm completely sold on Keynote, it's all positive to me. I moved to Keynote from Powerpoint and it has been an upgrade for me in terms of ease of use and design. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Keynote is perfect for creating sleek and professional looking presentations on your mobile device, and because it is fully integrated with iOS, you can start designing on your Macbook, and pick up where you left off on your iPhone. Keynote is so user-friendly that someone with little or no experience creating presentations could jump right in. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
One of Keynotes biggest pros is also one of it's biggest cons: Keynote can be used seamlessly across all of your Apple devices, but it can also *only* be used on iOS devices. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It's really simple and easy to use, very clean interface, when I do presentations in Keynote I'm about 20% faster than in Powerpoint Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The only reason this is not a 10/10 is that is not possible to collaborate with my coworkers that use Windows OSes Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It's like powerpoint but better, easier and less buggy. It has a more intuitive and cleaner interface and this allows me to focus and be done sooner with my presentations. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Only available on devices from Apple, since most people run Windows I need to take my MacBook with me if I want to present. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Integrates amazingly well with my MacBook Pro, It's easy to create and present with Keynote and its one of the few apps that the touch bar actually makes sense to use. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It's not possible to collaborate with people that have windows as this is a Mac only app. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Master slides, styles, color choices, animation, transitions Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Odd to save files, sometimes files are too large to share, sometimes files are slow, crashes Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Very easy to use and well laid out. The program is very straightforward Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Coming from other robust software like Word makes it an uneven playing field, but it would be nice to have more options for features... but that could take away from it's straight-forwardness Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

There are many things to love. Everything from creating elegant presentations for school and work, with or without transition animations to actually creating stunning graphical elements for mock-ups is just up the alleyway for a lot of individuals looking for a tool that fulfills a lot of needs. Blessed with simplicity in the UX and UI at its foundation, not only does Apple Keynote have next to no impact of battery life, but it's a tool for just about everybody. In certain niche cases, a lot of the more advanced tools or options feel sort of undocumented and require a little bit of searching to find. Additionally, certain tools that modify shapes to ones content are not as fleshed out as other applications on the market, but this is really a non-issue, as the price-tag of "FREE" justifies a lot of its shortcomings.
