I personally donot like the User experience part of the key note software. There are features available on the keynote but its pretty hard for me to find out which feature is available where in the keynote. Things can be categorized in a better way. Rotating slides has a bug i guess Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Straightforward and user-friendly. The best feature for me is removing backgrounds on images. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
There's a couple of features that are not available on Keynote but is available on competitor applications. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Keynote is very easy to get to grips with, having a stripped back interface that presents only the options that you need to create a slick presentation. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Whilst Keynote imports Powerpoint files easily, the same is not true in the other direction. Whilst this is not the fault of Keynote, it does mean that there are limitations in organisations that also use Windows computers, as the cross-compatibility only works one way. I like how intuitive it is to use right away and be able to make a clean and professional presentation. When I insert pictures, Keynote will show grid lines to help with placement of photos for a clean appearance. Also, I like that Keynote will autosave your file so you can pick up where you left off after leaving the computer and coming back to it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It's a little difficult for me to figure out how to add animation features to my slides. I also don't like that when I try opening Powerpoint files using Keynote, it shifts the fonts and placement of pictures. It gets a little tricky when I need to share files between Mac and PC users. When many people have to create a presentation, their primary option is usually Microsoft PowerPoint. Whether the presentation is required for work or for school, PowerPoint is the most popular option. However, over the past few years, competition has increased dramatically. Currently, data visualization and innovation are growing aspects of professional presentations. Although Symphony, Google Presentation, Prezi, and Impress all offer similar features to Microsoft PowerPoint; the biggest rival is Apple’s Keynote. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Many people have heard of Apple’s version of PowerPoint known as Keynote. Apple enthusiasts praise the program for its innovative features and user-friendly interface. Although the program may be popular with loyal Mac users, Keynote has yet to attain the popularity of PowerPoint. Keynote has received excellent reviews from experts and designers. However, when it comes to overall performance it may be beneficial to evaluate PowerPoint and Keynote one feature at a time. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I love the various design options featured in the templates in Keynote. Many of them help make my presentations look clean, crisp, and appealing. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The only thing I dislike about Keynote is the fact that I cannot print multiple slides on an 8.5x11 page, along with lines for note-taking, as I used to be able to do when I used PowerPoint. Maybe I'm mistaken, but up till now, I haven't found this as an option in Keynote. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
For simple presentations is a lot clearer than powerpoint and overall faster to use, making presentation creation time faster and has amazing MacOSX integration. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Exporting to powerpoint doesn't always work as it should be making it unnecessarily hard to share with Windows users and making it slower than just using powerpoint for slide creation since the troubleshooting time is usually larger than the time cut off by skipping powerpoint. The interface is not only user-friendly, but beautifully designed. When working in keynote, I actually want to do work compared to other options and the presentations always turn out better designed when using keynote. It is very easy to share documents back and forth with co-workers, esp. compared to Indesign. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Wish there could be more hot keys/short cuts which I think has been solved on the newer Apple computer that I don't have yet. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I like that Keynote is user friendly. You can create a presentation with intuitives templates, add images, icons, videos, text and custom colours. Another useful feature is that you can also align the items on each slide. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It can sometimes be a little complicated to find the perfect template. Also, it only works with apple. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The best presentation software you can use. Easy to use and much better than PowerPoint. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
MacOS only, can not edit or create Keynotes on Windows machines. If you export a keynote to a different format, some of the animations do not move over. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
