Apple keynote is very useful for users of IOS and it helps you create eye catching and engaging presentations such as the ones created by Microsoft Powerpoint. It is also great for those who do not want to use Powerpoint and are opting for an easier app. it is also free for IOS users which is great as they can all benefit from Keynote. keynote also has a good transition and animation effects. I dislike the fact that mp4 is not supported as a export file type. The collaboration features are still in beta which can be quite frustrating. It is not available to those who do not use IOS which is quite discriminatory. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I like that it is easy to navigate and build slides. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I dislike that it is just enough different from PowerPoint that it took me longer to create in Keynote. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The design capabilities are far better than Google Slides or PowerPoint Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Collaboration features are very clunky - much better in Google Slides. Even simple functionality like tagging is not possible. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I like Keynote because it is very versatile, and can be used for several different things. I use it to build decks, create maps and floorplans, as well as simple design features. It's easy to use and very user friendly for someone who is not prone to design software. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I have had a hard time using the collaboration feature. It didn't use to exist to my knowledge, which was my biggest problem with it. I'm happy to see that now you and a teammate can collaborate on a project in keynote together, but I haven't been able to get this to work yet. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Keynote saves time and allows for incredible looking presentation decks to be made. From a technical standpoint, this software runs quicker and with less issues than any other presentation program. From a workflow point of view, being able to set up templates using the master slide system saves a tremendous amount of time for myself and for my company. We have been able to develop a deck template matching our corporate brand guidelines and have that look remain consistent regardless of who is making the presentation. We have a number of clients that prefer to use Google Slides. Converting decks from Keynote to Slides is quite cumbersome and I would love to see the integration between these 2 fixed. We currently have to convert a keynote deck to a Powerpoint presentation, make necessary formatting adjustments to fix conversion issues, then convert the Powerpoint to Slides, and then make a second round of formatting adjustments. Great software for creating simple presentations. Much better than powerpoint and overall faster to use. Faster creation of presentations together with amazing MacOSX integration makes this software a force to be reckoned with. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Sending a Keynote file to someone who has’t got Keynote can be troublesome as file conversion is not automatic. Other than this not have an other dislikes apart from the interface and usability of the software can be difficult at time when searching for a feature. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I like best that Keynote is both available as an application on macbook, ipad and iphone. Likewise, it can be accessed online thru iCloud.com. It is free service or application provided by Apple.
The best thing about Keynote is during presentation, you can use your iPad or Iphone as a wireless connector and presentor. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
There are limited templates provided by Apple on Keynote is the only downside I see. But they are so modern and easy to change, so not a biggy! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The best thing about Keynote is that it has all the features you like in PowerPoint but it has a simpler interface to use them in. Finding things is much easier than in PowerPoint. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The only downside is that if you transfer a PowerPoint file into Keynote you will sometimes have to reposition things on your slides as they may not fit like they did before. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
