Some of the things that I love about Keynote are that the platform is very clean and easy to use. I love the templates that Keynote has and how simple it is to add notes for presenters compared to PPT. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Some of the things that I dislike about keynote include the limited amount of templates that Apple currently has for designs. I also dislike that I can't collaborate with other users at the same time. That's a feature that Microsoft and Google have started to master. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I love that Keynote is so easy to use. My slides always look professional! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
That others do not know how to use Keynote, so when I collaborate, I can't use it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It has a lot of great creative uses, templates, and helpful tools to create visually appealing decks and presentations Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It's hard to understand at first if you're used to creating decks in PowerPoint. However, once you get the hang of it and understand all of the elements, there is an opportunity to make more visually appealing presentations. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Keynote allows you to create polished presentations. Some of the included templates help you to layout your content in a clean and modern way. The transitions and animations (referred to as builds in Keynote) are quite stunning. I am also a long time user of PowerPoint and I find the transitions amd builds in Keynote to be more modern and refined than what PowerPoint offers. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I think the user interface and panels in Keynote are a bit clunky. Also doing bulk changes on animation timing and effects is very cumbersome. There are so many steps to go through to change your animations. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Ease of use and functionality. Also, lots of templates are available to utilize Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
One thing I dislike is it doesn't carry forward the formatting and layout if it's converted to another app. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I like how intuitively the software works once you get it going. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I'm really not a fan of the layout and how clunky it can be to find certain tools. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
nothing. cant think of literally anything to write here. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
everything. horrible interface. clunky and glitchy. poor performance. looks unprofessional. no one uses it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I have used it mostly for my class presentations. So fonts and text edit is great. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Putting watermark in keynote and trying to export file in Microsoft Presentation does not work. It gets converted to dark normal text. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
A simple, intuitive interface puts essential tools front and center, so everyone on your team can easily add beautiful charts, edit photos, and incorporate cinematic effects. And Rehearse Mode lets you practice on the go, with the current or next slide, notes, and clock — all in one view. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I want more templates! There aren't enough templates. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
