PTC Kepware KEPServerEX provides an easy way to configure tags. Also, it is so easy to integrate with PTC Thingworx and fetch data from plant floors. It supports around 160 industry-standard protocols, including Allen-Bradly, BACnet, MQTT, and more. Even if you don't have PLCs, you can simulate tags and their data. It is having hundrades of in-built simulation functions to. The best part is its help section. There they have explained evrything in a god way. Suppose if you dont know what a particular simulation function is doing, in the help section you can get it easily. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Kepware KEPServerEX is an awesome OPC. But still, it has some limitations. Here the maximum number of channels is limited. But you can have unlimited tags. It depends on the driver. For example, Allen-Bradly can have a maximum of 256 channels and BACne can have 100 only. Another thing I wouldn't say I like its price. Previously I have used KEPServerEX with an MES application, there we have paid and I felt that is fine. But while we are using it with PTC Thingworx, that time also we have to pay for it.
