Top Rated Kaspersky Managed Detection and Response Alternatives

Kaspersky does with it promises. Keeps your infrastructure safe from intrusion. AND it is Mac compatible. I am a one-person show when it comes to marketing and design, but I also am the IT Admin, and have access to and manage dozens of endpoints and servers. My computer MUST be protected. I am using a different tool now, but I recommend Kaspersky. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Nothing to dislike. It was affordable, and when using it, I never had an issue with data intrusion, viruses, or anything malicious. It caught everything. If it had been bundled with my current MMA, I would be using it now. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Kaspersky Managed Detection and Response (MDR) offers several impressive features, but the best one is probably its use of artificial intelligence and machine learning for threat detection and analysis.
Kaspersky MDR leverages AI and ML algorithms to analyze vast amounts of data in real-time, detecting anomalies and potential security incidents faster and more accurately than traditional methods. The solution uses a combination of signature-based and behavior-based detection techniques, providing a more comprehensive approach to threat detection.
The use of AI and machine learning also allows Kaspersky MDR to provide proactive threat hunting capabilities. It can identify patterns and trends in data that may indicate a potential threat, even before an attack has occurred. This can help organizations stay ahead of cybercriminals and protect their assets before an attack takes place.
Overall, Kaspersky MDR's use of AI and machine learning is a significant advantage in today's threat landscape. It helps organizations to detect and respond to cyber threats quickly and accurately, enabling them to mitigate potential damage and keep their systems secure. While Kaspersky Managed Detection and Response (MDR) has many impressive features, there are some potential drawbacks to consider:
Cost: Kaspersky MDR is a premium security solution and may be expensive for some organizations. The cost can vary depending on the size of the organization, the level of service required, and the length of the contract.
Integration: Kaspersky MDR may not integrate seamlessly with all existing security tools and systems. This could require additional configuration and potentially cause delays or disruptions during implementation.
Privacy concerns: Kaspersky has faced controversy in the past due to allegations of inappropriate ties to the Russian government. While Kaspersky has denied these allegations, some organizations may be hesitant to use a security solution from a company with these concerns.
Limited customization: While Kaspersky MDR does offer a high level of customization for security policies, some organizations may find that the platform does not provide enough flexibility for their unique needs.
Resource requirements: Kaspersky MDR requires a significant amount of resources, including processing power, memory, and storage. Smaller organizations may struggle to allocate the necessary resources to implement and maintain the solution.
Overall, while Kaspersky MDR offers a range of powerful features, it may not be the best fit for every organization due to cost, integration, privacy concerns, limited customization, and resource requirements. It's important to carefully consider these factors when evaluating whether Kaspersky MDR is the right security solution for your organization. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

It is Scalable and provides real time threat visibility into entire enterprise IT infrastructure so giving time to dig down for proactive threat hunting aided by Kaspersky's proprietary Threat intelligence feeds. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
As Kaspersky MDR stack intensively uses Machine learning and artificial intelligence algorithms to devlop baselines for analysing user and process behaviour so in initial stages of deployment results will be noisy , but that is not exclusive to Kaspersky as there is time requirement for esteblishing baselines using various learning models to detect abnormal behaviour pertainng to security threats. a centralized system, where with this feature all computers that have the Kaspersky application installed can be monitored, and get updates at any time, so there is less chance of being contaminated with viruses Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I don't like it when the process of using memory and processor on Kaspersky is quite high, which makes the computer slow and heavy Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I like that it has minimal false detections, and adapts to your everyday use by reducing notifications. Also it drains very little resources thus causing less headache when it comes to performance. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Very hard to uninstall if needed, usually leaves a lot of traces in the registry, and older versions can corrupt the OS if not removed thru their own Uninstaller. As far as usage, it is quite large to download and takes a while to install. Scans take forever on a normal disk, but on SSD it's quick. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
