Karma helped implementing an open remote environment with positive feedbacks. It was really easy to implement with Slack and we leveraged on the automated gift card feature to incentivise team members who do a lot for our team and our progress. Nice stats, simple web console, not much to dislike. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
We are a portfolio of companies with a huge enterprise Slack workspace and while Karma handles this with ease, it would be nice to be able to enable/disable Karma for individual users to avoid paying for users we don't want to include in our program. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The tool is very easy to use and recognize employees on Slack and on the website. There are also many redeemable gift card options that will suit a large variety of our employees needs. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Nothing comes to mind, we have been happy with the product and product support. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
We've been using Karma for years already. It's very natural extension of our Slack usage that nobody even notices it's a separate product. The product is used on a daily basis by our team of 200+ people from field technicians to office employees. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Nothing to note to be honest, the product is simple, yet functional. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Karma is deeply integrated with Slack, which means it's quick and easy for our teams to use without additional logins. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Nothing I can think of right now - Karma meets all our needs. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Working with Karmabot has drastically helped to improve recognition at Mission. We are a company that greatly values work-life balance so we support a remote workforce, whether that’s 100% remote or from time to time as needed.
One of the downsides of this flexibility is that we don’t always have the opportunity to provide recognition to each other face to face. Karmabot fills that gap by allowing team members to send each other recognition at any time of the day and from any location through Slack.
Not only has the frequency of recognition increased, but team members have reported an increase in happiness and connection after the implementation of this tool. Managers have also been provided with an opportunity to learn about helpful behavior among team members that they may not have otherwise heard about through the openness and transparency this tool provides.
Karmabot has also helped us to further embed our core values in our daily lives by being able to reference a core value in each piece of recognition. This tool’s flexibility and the company’s responsiveness and willingness to work with us to find solutions to our needs is something you don’t always experience.
It has been an absolutely positive experience working with Karmabot. If you are looking for a great way to help increase recognition and happiness within your organization with a company that is responsive and will proactively work with you to find solutions that fit your company’s needs I would recommend working with Karmabot. We launched with Karma earlier this year after reviewing and piloting a few other recognition tools. Karma is an excellent employee recognition tool that hit the sweet spot of feature functionality, usability, and cost. I had used Karma at a previous company and always enjoyed the ease of use as an end-user. As we launched, it allowed us to quickly and publicly recognize our colleagues on our medium of choice (Slack). When we launched at my current company, I had the opportunity to work with the Karma team to make sure we were getting the most out of the tool. Most notably, we were able to map our company values into the tool. This added a new dimension to our recognition efforts which was more rewarding to the team and gave managers more insight into where their team members were showing up strong within the organization.
Adoption was seamless. We launched, and recognition via Karma spread pretty virally through our org. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The automated attribution of the values was sporadic. If we didn't include the right keywords, the value attribution missed fairly often. The value attribution requires a bit more tuning of the keywords over time to improve the success rate. Not terribly, but just feels "off" when it misses.
The other area I would love to see improvements is with user/group management. The team/group structure for driving access to Karma was a little unwieldy. My company is 6K employees, but only a small subset of that Slack user population needed access to Karma, so mapping to and maintaining that subset of users required a bit more care and feeding as we onboarded additional team members. Karma is simple to use and get set up. Our sales rep has been extremely helpful all along the way, so we have felt supported from the beginning. One initial concern we had with looking for this type of app was that it was going to take a lot to have to admin, but that has not been the case so far. The team's feedback and usage has been overwhelming as well, particularly since it easily intergrated into Slack, which is what we use for our primary communication channel across the organization. Some reward types require a manual setup, if the gift card reward we want to offer is not part of the initial catalog. It isn't a dealbreaker at all, but does add a touch of time to the initial setup. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Our team loves KarmaBot. We launched in January of 2020, just a few months before the pandemic hit and we went fully remote. Karma played a significant role in keeping us connected. I love browsing the Karma channel to see what's going on, and it's always especially fun to see the inter-department praise.
Even more so than receiving Karma, I think individuals love being able to acknowledge their peers in a fun and meaningful way. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
