
Integration with our existing Lightspeed R-Series system was easy. Working with Mario and his team to customize our customer-facing App was very positive, and gave us a new way to connect with our clients.
In addition to the custom app, we were able to work with Mario to help enable new services to our guests through their API. This allowed us to meet our customers where they are, rather than requiring them to utilize the App (or engage with our crew).
Kangaroo's API was easy to leverage and has opened up additional productivity for our Crew, and even stronger engagement for our guests.
The system responses as if it was native to Lightspeed R-Series - it's quick and reliable.
The cost of the tool is well worth the repeat business and customer engagement we see. We had previously used another platform that was far more cumbersome. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
One feature we have asked for is the ability to create redemptions that can be tied to a period of time.
For example, we currently have a reward that, for 1,000 points (after a $1000.00 spend), the guest can become a "member" for one year (365 days).
To accomplish this today, we have the reward in Kangaroo but, once it's redeemed we have to manual change the customer type (on Lightspeed) to "Member" and then give them the associated perks they get for membership (an ongoing discount primarily).
Additionally, it would be nice to have multiple types of points. Ie, the standard reward point (1 for each $ spent, for example) work well, but we also have a separate point tracking system we wrote so that when guests play in our tournaments, they earn win points. These win points can be redeemed for promotional items.
There's no way to distinguish point "types" in Kangaroo.
