What do you like best about Jolt?

What do you dislike about Jolt?

Nothing yet. Haven't used all the features yet. If all I ever use is scheduling and lists, I'm happy with it, though. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Recommendations to others considering Jolt:

Waste less time scheduling the hard way. There are way better ways to spend time. Why reprint lists over and over, when staff can access a fresh list on a tablet, or phone, depending on your policies. I love not having to look for time off request paperwork. What problems is Jolt solving and how is that benefiting you?

Easier scheduling saves sooo much time. Simple limitation of time off requests in a given work group, so not too many are able to ask off at the same time. What do you like best about Jolt?

What do you dislike about Jolt?

Not everything can be completed from a PC. Such as assigning tasks must be completed from an Ipad. I would prefer to have full access from both a PC and an Ipad Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Jolt solving and how is that benefiting you?

We use jolt to manage our maintenance team in our manufacturing facility. We create maintenance work requests that get submitted by floor supervisors and reviewed by the engineers once a notice is sent that the list for a request has been completed. From these requests the Engineers create a maintenance work order list to be completed by the maintenance team, which once completed notifies the engineering team and the supervisors when the list has been completed. What do you like best about Jolt?

There are several reasons why I love JOLT but the #1 reason is the accountability of list. I am able to have list show up and completed when things are to get done. This is the whole reason I bought into Jolt in the first place. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Jolt?

I wish there were more features. Jolt lets me create a list but keeping track of 100 lists is difficult. I wish the product had more organization to it when it comes to list. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Jolt?

We currently use the Jolt App for scheduling our 15 employees. It saves us so much time! Now employees can swap shifts, ask for time off, give away a shift and set up their ongoing availability on their own. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Jolt?

As far as dislikes, I really don't have any complaints because it is SO much better than the old "write it on the calendar method" that we were using. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Jolt?

Our company loves the ability to check in on stores without having to visit the physical location. With 7 quick service restaurants, it is impossible to be everywhere at once. With Jolt we can easily check each location's Logbook to see any notations made and how they were addressed. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Jolt?

The time clock function could use some improvements, but Jolt has been very receptive to our feedback and has already made some improvements in just the few weeks we have been using the time clock function. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Jolt solving and how is that benefiting you?

Before implementing Jolt we didn't have a good way to do store checks. Every morning, afternoon, and night we expected our store management team to check store conditions and correct what they found to be deficient. However, we had no good way to check behind the store management to ensure this was being done. With Jolt we created checklists and have times set when they are due. We can easily check over these lists to ensure they are being completed. This is also true with taking temperatures for food. Jolt provides a very user-friendly temperature log system. What do you like best about Jolt?

I love the checklists for day-to-day operational needs in our Chick-fil-A restaurant, ability to quickly print pre-made labels (important because we use labels for every food item all throughout the day), and the fact that Jolt listens to customers about needs and functionality. What do you dislike about Jolt?

I would really love to have automated workflows (trigger-action), and after suggesting this in the forum, a product development rep reached out to me to spend time listening to what I would like to see and they're in process for building this functionality. So my dislike is something that is currently not there, but Jolt is working on integrating this functionality into the system, so they're doing something about this need. Try it out. It's a great platform and they're working hard to improve functionality everyday. Like I said, they reached out to me directly when I added a suggestion and we had a screenshare conference call to test out upcoming functionality and to receive my feedback on it. Daily organization of tasks, which is imperative in a restaurant. Quick and easy labeling to track food safety and quality; if we had to manually write every label, it would take forever, and Jolt helps keep this aspect quick and efficient, so labels are used always. What do you like best about Jolt?

Sometimes when printing multiples of labels that print properly as singles, it will print a completely different label altogether. I'm sure it's just a bug that can easily be worked out. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Find others in your line of work that have already implemented Jolt and ask to copy their lists as a good starting point. You can trim and add from there. Starting from scratch can be a bit overwhelming with out a good outline to start with. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Jolt?

One of the things that I like the best about Jolt is it's multifunctionality. This program has the ability to do multiple things well. The first, is date code labeling. In the food service industry, this is critical to ensure that we are serving products within hold times and tracking it's shelf life. Secondly, Jolt has the ability create in depth checklists to ensure that tasks are being completed and hold team members accountable. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Jolt?

One of the things that I dislike is the inability to customize checklists more in depth. The vast array of choices when it comes to a checklist item is great, but you can't further customize those choices. I would like the ability to do (for example) an in-compliance, out-of-compliance with the ability to add a short answer corrective action all within one checklist item. What do you like best about Jolt?

Jolt is very easy to use and has drastically improved our operations. It empowers our staff to effectively problem solve. We have directly seen a reduction in food costs and labor costs because of implementing Jolt. What do you dislike about Jolt?

There are some features that we'd like to see added that aren't yet available, but I am confident that they will arrive soon because Jolt is constantly adding new features. With our food trucks and off site catering events, it's impossible to be everywhere at once. Jolt has allowed up to better oversee events taking place simultaneously at different locations. The communication and information sharing features also empowers our staff to better problem solve and complete their job duties correctly, with a reference easily available to them. In our restaurant and kitchen, Jolt has significantly improved our overall operations. Having food prep information readily available and the ability to properly label food with the prep and expiration date has improved the quality of our products and decreased our waste and overall food costs. When bringing on new team members, we routinely get complimented on how nice it is to have Jolt, compared to the operations and communications systems at their previous jobs.
