Jira Core Pros and Cons

Jira core is very helpful in project management specially in ticketing system. It gives us ease to manage and track the overall progress of our business and projects. I'm a user/admin of this ticketing system for almost 5 years now. Aside from being so usefull one of its best upside is that it has a very user friendly UI/UX and a modern easthetics as well. Customer support of jira core is very reliable, fast and professional. Integration of jira in our system is very easy since its already compatible with other development tools. I have been using jira in my current company to keep the product managers updated about my progress and tasks on each ticket that I'm working one. It is the best tool to monitor and update on your task which provides multiple features. It is very easy and effective to implement when we are working on agile methodologies. Best tool for

1) Agile and scrum management .

All software have some dislike in people that is based on their perspective.

I point out some I disliked in jiracore are

1)Expensive

2)The learning curve feels complex for nes users.

3) managemnt limit work time . But for an employee he works more than specified time his

Experientially, JIRA is an extension to the ever growing need of running efficient Projects, that align superb delivery for the team and the enterprise at large. In an effort to divulge into its key profeciencies, we found that it has been able to create workflows out of challenging project plans, where multiple stekholders were invovled from various facets of the organization. It allowed our project teams to tailor workflors to the ever growing processes, where various units had their input that impacted end project delivery.

Furthermore, allowing inclusion in the platform for collabortive input from other team members, into a unified platform experience, created an ease of use to park assignments to other teams, tag them for TATs and mark their scope which was critical to remain transparent, especially considering the financial nature of various projects. This coupled with its integration capabilities with our core-systems allowed seamless execution of workflows, due to the ease of its implmentation in the existing system infrastructure.

In order to sum it up, the best part was its diverse and extensive reporting engine, that allowed identification of project gaps along with a meaningful set of insights that provided learnings for the Business and Techinical teams to establish process improvements for future executions. Possibly a lack of in-app / service tutorial view is a weakness that we could improve upon, whereby the application could allow in-app recording of actions to share with other users to train / teach them of running and operating workflows, to improve its frequency of use in the organization. My top features for JIRA include:

1. Easy movement of tasks between lanes.

2. Fast, Quick and Efficient tracking of work done.

3. One stop solution for an overview of the current, future and past state of the progress.

Things JIRA can improve upon:

1. No option to create tasks without the premium plan. If ability to create 'x' tasks was provided in the free plan, it would have been good.

Jira is bets for issue tracking. We have different boards for each team mates, where the tasks are assigned. There are three sections under each team mate board which includes assigned tasks, on going tasks and completed task. When we create a new task then we can assign it an owner and can add the tags related to the task. Also we can specify the number of days that a task can take and may increase the time later if required. The dashboard is very good and is very much customizable with the development phase. Agile development is great using Jira. It is very well integrated with other Atlassian products. It is very user friendly and is easy to use. The loading of the page on jira is slow sometimes. The jira board itself takes a while to load up initially, There is no feature to add reminder for some of the important tickets for which specific attention is required at specific time.
