Intuit QuickBooks Pros and Cons

I love the ease of being able to have others access the program to do the book keeping for me when I do not have the time. I also would take many hours inputing inventory and keeping up with numbers which would take more of my time that I consider precious. Before using Quickbooks i would have numbers that didnt make sense and would cost me more time going over past errors. Quickbooks has got the basics of accounting right and if you know the concepts it is easy to use. Since Quickbooks is used by a lot there is a lot of community support available and a lot of help articles and videos if you need any help. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The UI UX is a bit complex compared to a tool like WaveApps. So you should know your accounting basics to use the application correctly. For a small business owner who does not have accounting knowledge, it could be challenging.

I have used as developer and the integration with any platform is very easy and helpful in the best fir for user to maintain their billing, accounting, invoicing.etc, customer support is also very good, you will get call after creating account to help you out taht is everything going good. What I like best is that it's collaborative. The collaborative properties are greatest in QuickBooks Online. A small business can automate several processes by connecting financial accounts to QuickBooks, making it easier for an accountant or bookkeeper to see what's happening with the business and its accounts and make adjustments, recommendations, and using the data for tax preparation and planning. I am not an accountant so software like this scares me. I really liked that it was very intuitive. There was almost no learning curve. I was able to import old Freshbooks data, create and send invoices, track payments and expenses, and used several of the add-on integrations. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

It became too expensive for my limited uses so I tried a lower plan and then eventually switched to a different product. It isn't very easy way to get your data out (and into another system). The customer support is almost nonexistent. Trying to speak to a human is a Herculean task and when I do get in touch with one, it's pretty obvious they're speaking or writing from a script. It also loses connections with my bank randomly and no one can tell me why.
