What I admire most about Intuit QuickBooks is its remarkable user-friendliness. This software seamlessly simplifies complex financial tasks, making them accessible to users with varying levels of accounting expertise. It offers a delightful and intuitive user interface that streamlines financial management processes, enabling individuals and businesses to stay organized and informed with ease. QuickBooks also boasts an extensive array of features that cater to diverse financial needs, which is incredibly valuable. The software's commitment to user convenience truly stands out and sets it apart from others in the field. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
One aspect I find less favorable about Intuit QuickBooks is its pricing structure. While it undoubtedly provides a robust set of features and functionalities, the cost of certain subscription plans may be a bit steep for smaller businesses or individuals with limited budgets. Additionally, the pricing can become complex when factoring in add-ons and payroll services, potentially leading to unexpected expenses.
Another minor inconvenience is the occasional need for software updates, which can interrupt workflow if not planned for in advance. However, I understand that updates are essential for maintaining the software's performance and security.
Overall, while I have some reservations about the cost and occasional updates, the benefits of using Intuit QuickBooks far outweigh these concerns, making it an excellent choice for financial management. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I love the ease of being able to have others access the program to do the book keeping for me when I do not have the time. I also would take many hours inputing inventory and keeping up with numbers which would take more of my time that I consider precious. Before using Quickbooks i would have numbers that didnt make sense and would cost me more time going over past errors. Quickbooks has taken all that stress away and given me more time to focus on my buisness. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
integrating some programs tool a little work but it was pretty simple once i figured it out ( might be a user issue more then the program) Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Quickbooks has got the basics of accounting right and if you know the concepts it is easy to use. Since Quickbooks is used by a lot there is a lot of community support available and a lot of help articles and videos if you need any help. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The UI UX is a bit complex compared to a tool like WaveApps. So you should know your accounting basics to use the application correctly. For a small business owner who does not have accounting knowledge, it could be challenging.
Also, there were some limitations with multi-currency support Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I like the fact that things can be changed if they are entered incorrectly. There are ways to fix mistakes. You can search anything you need. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
You have to be very specific when naming customers, jobs, and invoice numbers. Lower case letters and uppercase letters can change your entire search. Maybe if that were a bit more inclusive it would even easier to use. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I have used as developer and the integration with any platform is very easy and helpful in the best fir for user to maintain their billing, accounting, invoicing.etc, customer support is also very good, you will get call after creating account to help you out taht is everything going good. As it has multiple positive functionality there is one dislike point i have found is UI understanding. some time navigation create confusion. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
What I like best is that it's collaborative. The collaborative properties are greatest in QuickBooks Online. A small business can automate several processes by connecting financial accounts to QuickBooks, making it easier for an accountant or bookkeeper to see what's happening with the business and its accounts and make adjustments, recommendations, and using the data for tax preparation and planning. I think it does tend to require double-every accounting of people unversed in it. It's very easy for a user to make errors due to the learning curve involved. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I am not an accountant so software like this scares me. I really liked that it was very intuitive. There was almost no learning curve. I was able to import old Freshbooks data, create and send invoices, track payments and expenses, and used several of the add-on integrations. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It became too expensive for my limited uses so I tried a lower plan and then eventually switched to a different product. It isn't very easy way to get your data out (and into another system). Support was not very helpful in this case and wanted me to pay for custom support. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I really like the clocking in with the app because I used to use timecards and I would have to manually calculated my hours. With Workforce, my hours will already be calculated for me once I clock out. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I cannot think of what I dislike about QuickBooks but I can think of much more reasons why I do like though. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Not much anymore, in the past it was easy to use and you could get a package that fit your needs but that is gone. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Forced to a subscription cloud service instead of upgrading every couple years. Cost is many times what it was and they do their best to force you to buy their consumables, checks, envelopes etc Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I like that it has such a wide variety of tools and capabilities. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The customer support is almost nonexistent. Trying to speak to a human is a Herculean task and when I do get in touch with one, it's pretty obvious they're speaking or writing from a script. It also loses connections with my bank randomly and no one can tell me why. You should always have a bookkeeper or CPA look through your books before you go to do your taxes - do not trust Quickbooks to get it right. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
