It has all of the accounting nuts and bolts built in, so that I don't need to know the rules. I've never understood how to use the debit and credit columns, and with QuickBooks, I never needed to know that. As a non-accountant sole practitioner, I have been able to successfully create profit and loss statements for my CPA every year for the last twenty-five years. It's been QuickBooks every single year, with an easy annual implementation each time I updated. I've never even considered another accounting software. There have been too many features for my tiny business, and I feel I paid too much for all of those beneifts like Payroll which I never needed as a one-woman shop. I have found numerous advantages using QuickBooks and what I like the most about QuickBooks is that it has report customizations, leading to a speed up workflow, online banking that allows you to link bank and credit accounts, and it has a hundreds of third party app integrations with other finance tools.
