It's easy to navigate and move around in Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
We have employees in different states, so the plans can be pricey for that. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Initial configuration and setup was easy. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Customer support is terrible. I've only been a customer for 10 days. I've had to call support 5 times. (Make that 20 counting the times I didn't get through). They can't wait to get you off the phone, and in my experience they make promises and nothing happens. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I like how easy it is to process the payroll as well as pay various payroll taxes and filing tax forms. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I don't like how hard it is to modify a paycheck, as far as which account it comes from. It was easier with desktop. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I really like that I am able to schedule direct deposit payments to contractors for the next business day. I also really like that they will submit tax reports electronically for me and make the tax payments as well Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I dislike that I am unable to access many of the reports that were available to me when I was using Intuits online Payroll through Bank of America. Many of my employees are contractors and I am unable to pull up reports of previous 1099's and I lost a lot of data when I was forced to change over to QB Online Payroll from the Intuit online Payroll.
I have also experienced a glich in the program. I had to change the name of an employee and it showed that the change had been saved but was still printing out what was originally entered on the checks Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The software provides step by step tutorials to get your account set up with speed and ease. HR paperwork is sent to each employee to fill out and Quickbooks keeps track of EVERYTHING! They also keep up with important dates such as quarterly tax due dates and other important reminders. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It was all fairly good based on my experience. I did have an issue and it took a while to resolve so I suppose the only thing i could really say could use improving would be customer service response times. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
IT is single sign-on with my QB online accounting, although they have it set up as a seperate business, so it is not fully integrated with other software. It seems familiar since I have been using QBOE. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
THIS IS a BETA software version. It is full of bugs. It does not integrate with Quickbooks cleanly; every time you have to correct a paycheck you have to call them, every time you want to rerun a paycheck you have to call them, in fact most editing functions do not work at all. The export function does not work correctly either, so you end up with multple repeats in your account ledgers. In general this software should not have been released to the public and needs hundreds of hours of programming fixes. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

We were migrated from intuit online payroll. We had been clients for over 8 years. So a certain familiarity is there. Problem is support ... there is no support. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Support is nonexistent. People don't listen. They give you inconsistent answers ... and mistakes. No one takes ownership. Takes 50 minutes to figure out a small click. So disappointed. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
As an admininstrator of an agency without previous bookeeping experience, it was important to understand well and fast how the accouting of our agency used payroll in quickbooks. So i liked the best that it was user friendly and fast to learn. Also, many bookkeepers or CPAs use this system and that is helpful for us since we had a little turnover in the CPA's we had. I dont dislike anything. I havent found many challenges while using it and if I do, they are very easy to figure out wit the support from Quickbooks or just by hunkering down and reseraching the solution. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Generally straight forward UI, making it easy to know where I need to go to accomplish certain tasks. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I was recently forced to switch from a legacy Intuit Payroll product to their latest QuickBooks Payroll product. At first, I was excited thinking I would have more features at my fingertips, but since the switch, I have had nothing but problems. First I had a hard time adding a new employee, and now I'm trying to update my bank account and so far (two weeks past my first attempt...) have not been successful.
The worst part of all of this is that they have made it next to impossible to get help in a moment of need. First, they want you to review their knowledge articles which have not answered a single question I've had to date. Then if you game the robot you can finally access a chat agent. The chat agents are kind humans, but they do not have much power or authority to help you make necessary changes, and these conversations usually result in a "reach out by phone". They aren't able to provide you a phone number, and you are forced to put your name on a wait list for a call back which is typically 60 minutes out. I have also had scenarios where I was actively chatting with a support agent when a sudden page refresh disconnects me from the chat and provides no way to re-connect without starting completely over. I can handle friction in a tool and the need to reach out to support, but when I'm two weeks past my initial issue with still no resolution and multiple frustrating experiences, I start to become frustrated that the company is not willing to put the necessary resources in place to support their loyal customers.
