What do you like best about Inspiration Maps?

We use it for instructional design — is a versatile tool that organizes complex information (voice notes attach to nodes – outlines auto-generate from diagrams) — and we can link readings, documents/refs easily keeping everything connected & ready for review. What do you dislike about Inspiration Maps?

When maps grow huge, reorganizing each piece takes far longer than I’d like — especially with branching paths/cross-links that keep multiplying. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Inspiration Maps solving and how is that benefiting you?

Thanks to its conceptual visualization we drew up improvement plans (roadmaps / priorities) — at Inspiration Maps diagrams/maps don't just record ideas; they «open» space for more productive conversations among participants [faculty, students] with different perspectives and different needs. What do you like best about Inspiration Maps?

The app offers a well-designed user experience (UX). It is easy and intuitive and offers enough tools without getting overly complex. It's easy to highlight items with different colors, which makes the final results also visually attractive! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Inspiration Maps?

Being a very flexible app, it also makes it possible to mess things up a bit and the map can also get a bit confusing if we are not careful. But, ultimately, that's our fault, not the app! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Inspiration Maps?

Clutter free clean interface.

User-friendliness (organisation of information).

What do you dislike about Inspiration Maps?

I do not see any downside using this iPad app. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Recommendations to others considering Inspiration Maps:

I use it to teach written expression to kids with dyslexia. My classes are 1-hour long. And sometimes I will not be able to complete the lesson. So I could do the planning part in one lesson and get the kids to complete the assignment at home (helps me to find a blended model) Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Inspiration Maps solving and how is that benefiting you?

I use this application to mind-map writing assignments that are given to my kids with dyslexia. Easy toggle between mind-map mode and the linear mode and the export of content from Inspiration Maps to Pages are great features my kids enjoy. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
