We have been using Slingshot to manage our work, collaborate as well as for analyzing our business data. It has made our daily communications much efficient and fast by goving us a instant chatting tool which is a quicker way communicating, sharing ideas and giving feedbacks. Since we started using it, we have seen great change in the way we collaborate during our work which has helped us become more productive in what we do. Slingshot also helps us stay committed to our projects and tasks by sending automated reminders of due dates and deadlines. We always use it to assign tasks to individuals and this way, we are able to know who is doing what and therefore it becomes easy to follow up on the same. It gives us easy time when tracking the progress our projects in order to make sure everything is headed to the right direction and things are done according to the set plans and timelines. The interface is very friendly, easy to use and is loaded with quite a number of features which are also easy to use. There is a collection of very rich templates which you can choose from to help you get started. Despite it been a very useful and feature-rich platform, Slingshot fails to offer video or audio conferencing tool which i believe would be make communication much better. Before Slingshot, our team was using Slack, which is an excellent tool for team communication. However, we were facing significant delays in analyzing metrics. This prevented us from making timely changes in our activities. Once we adopted Slingshot, we immediately fell in love with its data analytics and data visualization features which helped us to use key insights during our meetings and take prompt action. One of the best aspects of Slingshot is the ability to assign a task and keep track of its progress. Prior to using Slingshot, tasks were assigned via email, with no automatic way to track their progress. Projects might not be delivered on time unless we manually remind each contributor of their deadlines. With Slingshot, we’ve eliminated back-and-forth emails, which has resulted in projects always delivered on time.
Another benefit of Slingshot is improved communication. The chat functionality within the digital workplace allows our team members and external clients to collaborate in real-time, exchange ideas, and provide quick feedback on tasks and projects.
The data analytics capabilities which are part of Slingshot’s digital workplace ate also a valuable feature. We used Slingshot for analysis of our annual survey. We were able to create data visualizations of the data collected so that the media could easily understand the results.
