I worked as a Service Designer and Event Coordinator, improving the user experience of event spaces through the analysis of trouble spots in the reservation and use of spaces, developing improvements and actions for the best experience.
- User experience research in the spaces, understanding of the "As it is" journey, which generated changes in the journeys and internal communications, we count on the cooperation of the employees of the companies that were in the coworking to arrive at the solutions, the users and the technical teams from Impact Hub.
- Facilitation of dynamics and workshops/co-creation;
- Stakeholder interviews, hypothesis validation, and data analysis;
- Focus on delivering unified and efficient services holistically—as opposed to taking a component-by-component approach.
- Analysis and Synthesis of Qualitative and Printed Data;
- Understanding the approach of customers and stakeholders in their journey to the value of the product.
We understood that holding events for the development of the local business ecosystem, such as FuckUp Nights, Architecture, and Engineering Meetups, was of great value to companies and people. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
For those willing to work with development and contact with large socio-environmental impact projects, Impact Hub offers a structure of contacts and actions that make a lot of sense. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The atmosphere inside Impact hub is really good. A lot of criativity, insights, social entrepeneurs discussing about best practices and how they could develop solutions that could positively affect everybody of the ecossystem Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I have worked there in a moment that I hadn´t a clear position and goals to accomplish. I was doing everything possible to deliver best experiences but It was unclear how they were being seeing by the company Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The innovation of its spaces, in particular the accelerators and incubators, as well as the coworking spaces. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Basically in the BMC program they accept everyone who just has an idea focused on social and sustainable impact, but they just have an idea, nothing more.
This means that if you have a valid idea already a bit developed you're going to find yourself with random people that just woke up the day before with some ideas without any realistic validation. You will feel like a grown up professional in a day care .
Basically Impact Hub Amsterdam take from you 1.2k euros for this program, no shares or anything, why? Because they don't really believe in your projects but only in getting your money, and they say this is "more fair" than taking shares and no money at the beginning (I don't see how this is more fair).
I decided to quit the program immediately after the kick off meeting, but they told me I should have paied 500 euros then for the time they lost for me. I didn't sign any contract if not the application form, where there is only one line that says "you are aware of the fact if you are selecter you will pay the total amount", which is of course not a transparent contract since there are no terms and conditions stated.
They insisted telling me I had signed a contract, starting to sound a bit threatening. In the end I told them I would have payed max 200 euros, and they agreed (even adding 42 euros of taxing on top of the 200..........).
So... they tell everybody they are focused on making impact on the society, but to me seems that they do indeed make an impact, but a negative one: making people lose time, forcing who doesn't want to do the program to give them peanuts money and going around saying they are the good people.
Don't do incubators that ask for money since the beginning, it means they don't believe at all in your idea. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
They have a nice building, and it might be nice if you rent an office there to have space. But not if you are looking for an incubator. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Wanted to plug into the East Bay universe of nonprofits, community-based organizations, education, and conscious/social entrepreneurship. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The location is amazing, perfectly placed as a HUB should be, in the middle of a vibrant downtown and progressive locale. Supremely accessible to public transportation. The building is gorgeous and a real pleasure to use for small meetings, solo work, and even very large gatherings. The founders are very active and engaged hosts and place-makers. The people who show up there are dedicated to creating community and service. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Attended a few events here over the years. Not interested in co working bc cost high and also for my work (video editing) I'd rather be in a space where don't need headphones. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I really like the cooperation and the communication between the impact hub members. The only negative thing that I have is the chaos and the busy environment while we are having events here. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
