I really appreciate how easy and straightforward ImageKit is to use. It’s intuitive, and the speed of optimization is impressive. It’s been a huge help in managing images for my projects without any hassle. The results are always high-quality, which is exactly what I need. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
There’s not much to dislike. It’s been a smooth experience overall, though I wouldn’t mind seeing a few more advanced (image edit) features in the future. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"What stands out to me about ImageKit is its seamless integration, lightning-fast performance, and ability to simplify complex image optimization tasks, even at scale. With a library of around 2 million images and handling approximately 93.3 million requests per month, ImageKit ensures high-quality visuals are delivered efficiently. The implementation process is also incredibly easy, thanks to their extensive library of sample sets, which makes getting started a breeze. Additionally, their support team is exceptionally responsive and helpful, ensuring quick resolutions to any issues. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
For 'What do you dislike about ImageKit?' we honestly do not have any concerns or topics to mention. The platform has consistently met our expectations and handled our requirements effectively. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

We are now in our 4th year with ImageKit. At one point in 2021 we had nearly 100,000 product skus, each with a primary image in at minimum 3 sizes. About 25% of the products had more than one image 3x.
The 2 biggest selling points for us were ease of integration and named transforms.
Named transforms:
Internally our images all have suffixes that match a particular size, quality, etc. Our application can easily match that suffixes to a named transformation and have the image available just as we want it.
Ease of integrtion:
Because all transformations are query based, modifying an image is very easy to do. Many other CDNs use pre-extension image name suffixes to control transformations. When coding this requires a little more time to add/update. And at runtime, adds additional login that needs to be preformed, adding microseconds of time on render. Their wordpress plugin is extremely simple. Because it just changes out the urls at rendertime, it is difficult to get it to integrate with themes that do more complex changes with images/galleries.
We are in the firearm industry. AI doesnt like firearms, hasnt been trained on firearms, and as such, cannot autotag accurately, cannot center a firearm product accurately. This is not a problem specific to ImageKit's implementstion, but to AI training as a whole where 'taboo' subject matter is ignored. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The online dashboard and media library management make working with lots of images across multiple elements of our website a breeze. Marketing and designers have almost no necessary onboarding needed to hit the ground running using ImageKit. Ingreation with our site has been seemless and the extensive amount of options present to manipulate images on the fly or at content delivery.
ImageKit has become the backbone image provider of our image-heavy product. Implementation was easy with almost no learning curve. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
URL endpoints are great for tracking, but it would be nice to be able to set which endpoint you wanted a batch of images to go to so when you copy/paste out urls, they're already ready. This is a small quip - obviously this can be setup on the integration side, but would be nice be able to establish before batching.
Only other quip, like others have said, a pricing tier between free and Pro would be nice. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I was developing textintoimages.com which is a image editing platform, for that i required an media storage facility with transformation capabilities and ImageKit has been the perfect platform for my usage.
The ease of use through their native sdk has made life of developer very smooth by providing out of the box integration. Plus they provides CDN for images as well, which provides fast access to images making the overall user experience amazing.
Apart from this I also use the AI tag generation feature which helps to understand different use cases in my product.
I am very happy with ImageKit's all in one media solution, its easy to implement without any overhead. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
There's nothing that I dislike about Imagekit.
Who provides these features with very generous plans these days ? Even biggest cloud providers aren't providing free plan. ImageKit is awesome. Period. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

As a developer I needed to find a suitable image hosting platform. Imagekit was it. I love how easy to use the API was and the resizing on the fly has been really, really handy.
Was easy to implement Imagekit onto our app and use it for both image uploads and image downloads. Although it's a low volume app, the free account has been absolutley ideal for our user base. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Not too much to dislike. Did find the docs a little complex at times. But they have since been updated Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

ImageKit has been invaluable for my hiking and photography blog. The automatic image optimization and responsive delivery has dramatically improved my page load times, especially crucial for readers checking trail guides on mobile devices. The ability to transform images on-the-fly with simple URL parameters saves me tons of time when I need different crops and sizes for various sections of my blog. The CDN delivery ensures my high-res landscape photos load quickly regardless of where my readers are located. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The free tier is somewhat limited for a photo-heavy blog, though the paid plans are reasonably priced for the value provided. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

At Pro Image Sports, maintaining a seamless and engaging online shopping experience for our customers is crucial. ImageKit.io has been a game-changer for our eCommerce site. Their platform made optimizing product image sizes effortless, allowing us to deliver high-quality visuals while improving site performance and load times.

Thanks to ImageKit.io, our customers enjoy a faster, more visually appealing shopping experience, and our team saves countless hours managing image assets. We highly recommend ImageKit.io to anyone looking to elevate their online presence. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
A little pricey for those that go over the usage amount. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I liked the lower barrier to entry that ImageKit brought to implementation. I wrote a simple script to grab all <img> tags and re-write them to imagekit URLs. That simple. Now my users have access to tons of extra features for post-processing their images. It is something they can use every single day without reaching out to support from my development team. Easy to implement. Requires little support and training. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I don't have any major issues or significant dislikes. I am getting a ton of value out of the free tier. Then I am able to migrate my clients easily to paid tiers as their usage grows. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

We have integrated imagekit to our s3 storage. The setup is simple and just works. The userinterface is intuitve. As a developer who uses many pieces of software for our applications its awesome to have a piece of software that requires so little setup.
The pricing fits our startup really well. We can start for free and then pay a premium once we start to get a revenue Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
As a startup the pricing is really fair as it is free.
The free tier does have some minor limitation. One of them is something we would like to pay for, But the step up is too expensive. It would be nice if there was some smaller tiers that would unlock some features. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
