The unlimited functionalities. The more data you put in, the more you get out of it. QA, tracability, organized customer data (what they ordered last and which SKUs they carry etc), shipping and receiving, easy recall procedure and more.

Icicle provides us with one system that handles everything from HACCP procedures and processes, training, raw material tracking, production scheduling, warehousing, distribution and sales. It makes audits a breeze as everything is linked and in one place. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

trying to find things in icicle. its not very user friendly. Inventory is harder to do. All things have to stop until inventory is done. No data can be entered. The support from the Icicle team during implementation was exceptional. I have never had this level of support with any other MRP implementation.
During the implementation many nuances related to the company came up and Icicle created new processes to support them. This was unexpected but very much appreciated.
The system loads quickly and is mostly intuitive, but you do have to work with it to truly understand its full capabilities. I would suggest spending about 1 - 2 months using the system before you will become quite proficient at it.

Icicle is an easy-to-use ERP software that exists on the cloud. It is versatile and broad in its application. It has been essential for our business as we take the next steps toward traceability and food safety. What sets them apart is the Team more than their software. They are quick to reply to an email or hop on a call and always willing to help how they can. They are very open to feedback and requests from their users. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The team is constantly working to improve Icicle. This means it is continually evolving and any user guide becomes out of date quickly. The team is always willing to train and troubleshoot over email or video chat, but it gives an incomplete picture of how Icicle could or should be used. Once acquainted, the interface is simple and straight forward to use. The process of production to inventory to shipping and receiving is all streamlined and easy to use. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The only downside I can currently think of is the integration with quickbooks. Apart from the occasional offline errors, the necessity to use 2 programs to essentially do similar tasks feels a bit unnecessary.
