What do you like best about IBM XL C/C++ for AIX?

- I love challenging tasks. This project is enough to fulfill my dream work.

- Our team is separated into two places, one team in VietNam, the other is in the USA. My Vietnamese teammate is very kind to me. They treat me well. Almost another USA teammates are a little bit cold except Sally, a friendly woman. Maybe it's a character of an American person. But they are very professional and have very good skills. I learn a lot from them and my team leader in Vietnam.

- The working atmostphere is warm enough to look like my second family but it's enough professional to work

- It's best place to work and have fun at the same time. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about IBM XL C/C++ for AIX?

- We work in a different timezone. So the contact is delayed a litte bit. Especially if I have something to ask in afterternoon time in Vietnam, I'll have to wait until night or next morning to get the answer. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is IBM XL C/C++ for AIX solving and how is that benefiting you?

- it's the first time when I start working with the project. The project can only run in a previous developer. I have to spend a lot of time to make it work in my local computer and in another environment. When I do this job, it strengthen my C/C++ skill a lot.

- AIX is not a popular OS. It's only have in IBM or in some large hosting company. So I get a lot of trouble to make my XL C/C++ work in AIX. Even the no one in XL C/C++ development team have AIX machine. I have to spend a lot of time with development team and XL C/C++ community. But it helps me gainthe experience about how to work with a opensource better. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
