16 IBM SevOne Reviews

IBM SevOne is one of a quality product that I have used for network infrastructure monitoring and management, the UI experience of sevone is very much better than any other network infra monitoring solutions and the features and functionalities it posess also very great. this can help us to get a great visibility to our network like which devices or interface or application using more bandwidth than normally used and we can also manage the issues manually or by applying policies to it. one of the other good features is it creates automated reports for application based device based etc and it will show us the overview with issues and alerts based on the priorities and this made my datacenter network much better. and the customer support also given for sevone good and we can use frequently for makeing the organisation network more better Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The pricing of the IBM sevone is not suitable for smaller organisations and also the configurations and setup will be a challenge without an expert and also it will take some time to understand the UI completely, Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

the best is the performance of the tool i would say, it can handle massive amounts of data with AI and ML capabilities. visibility also one of the key feature i would say, this application interface is too good. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

SDN is flexible, exciting, and unavoidable in this Era. Networking facilitated by the software programming, by itself, has created more room for development than ever. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It's exciting but sometimes confusing as it needs more white papers from different vendor applications. Pretty sure, industry adopts to it soon than ever. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I can see the only downside is if I am not making redundancy of my SDN controller, I will lose all the functions and operations of my whole setup.
SDN Controller is the brain of the whole setup, and lose it will affect everything else.
Penetrating an SDN controller or control it by a suspicious person also is a big challenge. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
SDN is a very basic need for any traffic management solution . one can use the ability to change traffic according to many parameters and not just the protocols used by IEEE . allowing a much better service to users Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
there some issues with having a centralized controller so it's not a real distributed architecture in its nature but it has grown much since 1.0 . lack of application level visibility or deep packet applications. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
