What do you like best about IBM Robotic Process Automation (RPA)?

We have a philosophy of simplifying everything, and IBM achieves this.

With the software, we have developed several applications effortlessly without sacrificing security at any point.

Very little expertise is required to program the bots we use, so we don't have to spend hardly any development time on it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about IBM Robotic Process Automation (RPA)?

Sometimes it is a little confusing to understand the interface. It could be more modern, with some additional buttons for frequently used functions. However, it is still an easy-to-use software after getting used to it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Recommendations to others considering IBM Robotic Process Automation (RPA):

Creativity dramatically enhances IBM's features. If the user doesn't have much experience with this kind of software or creating bots, IBM's command books will be a great source of inspiration. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is IBM Robotic Process Automation (RPA) solving and how is that benefiting you?

We use it to create the bots we use for repetitive processes within the company. One of those tasks is developing websites and applications, and the software is useful for testing them or coding some repetitive parts.

In general, we reduced work times, organized several processes, and simplified tasks that are now automatic.

Tasks in areas such as accounting are carried out without so much supervision. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about IBM Robotic Process Automation (RPA)?

The documentation is fantastic and complete. It has helped us create the bots to achieve our first fully automated processes.

Programming skills can be very basic or non-existent to operate with IBM. You just need logic and creativity to get the most out of the software.

As an additional point, it is an intuitive and easy-to-use platform. IBM is flexible to automate all processes. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about IBM Robotic Process Automation (RPA)?

Its weakest point is the price, but, indeed, you are also paying for a complete and straightforward program at the same time.

Sometimes, we consult with the community to program more complex bots because there are not too many examples. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Recommendations to others considering IBM Robotic Process Automation (RPA):

I recommend that new users read all the documentation, especially those with little experience with IBM.

Consulting the community is also helpful for developing more complex sequences of bots.

On the other hand, you should think about each step before creating the bot. This way, you will optimize the automation flow. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is IBM Robotic Process Automation (RPA) solving and how is that benefiting you?

We use IBM to automate mainly fiscal and administrative processes. These are all tasks where people can make several mistakes, and leaving them to the bots eliminates that risk factor.

We also use the software to collect information from our customers that complete the forms and organize it in the database, with only the supervision of a few workers.

Now, we make more minor errors, and the staff can handle complex tasks. As a result, our resources have been optimized. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about IBM Robotic Process Automation (RPA)?

I love how we can develop applications without spending hardly any time. IBM is easy enough even for people with little to no experience coding.

The commands are easy to execute, and the whole interface is handy.

The IBM documentation is entirely enough to learn how to use the program without prior knowledge. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about IBM Robotic Process Automation (RPA)?

It is pretty expensive software, but we have learned to appreciate it.

On the other hand, its simplicity is sometimes a limitation. For example, we can't see inside project folders, but we don't usually require it. It's just a little awkward at times. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Recommendations to others considering IBM Robotic Process Automation (RPA):

Take your time to create your bot. It's a tedious process for those not used to programming bots, but the software makes everything much more straightforward. You might need the patience to record the procedures correctly. It will be worth it once it's all done.

It pays to make the recording as clean as possible. This way, all the automated processes will be done without errors. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is IBM Robotic Process Automation (RPA) solving and how is that benefiting you?

Now we can create customized and specific bots for our internal processes.

Areas such as accounting have now significantly reduced their work time. So we just let the developed bot do its job while one person oversees it.

We also use IBM to collect customer information in our database. So we can do tasks like generate invoices automatically. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about IBM Robotic Process Automation (RPA)?

In general, using RPA technology marked a before and after in implementing our projects. It facilitated many processes, mainly because the automation of several digital tasks left us to grow in other areas. It is easy to program simple bots, with a user-friendly interface It only takes few steps to have a functional bot that do simple tasks.

I love the online community; it is impressive and friendly. We can learn how to do other bots. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about IBM Robotic Process Automation (RPA)?

Its price is not the most competitive. But I know we are paying for quality and security. I trust in this IBM software.

Sometimes, if we want to do more complex bots, we need to ask in online communities. And, if we need support assistance, technical support helo ups. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Recommendations to others considering IBM Robotic Process Automation (RPA):

For companies, this software is efficient and effective because the learning curve to programming simple and necessary bots is short. Paying the price of RPA software is indispensable to improving productivity. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is IBM Robotic Process Automation (RPA) solving and how is that benefiting you?

I would say that the most benefit is that we reduced costs and optimized our employees' time. It is stimulating for the team, perceiving that their time is valued and required in activities than need their habilities.

Investing in RPA technology is something that benefits every company. Bots can do automated tasks, and humans can do complex activities. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
