No phone support, chat only. Make you work through an AI bot. They have the worlds dumbest migration policy. If you have a site and want to migrate to them they make you move to their DNS for CDN, but the worse part is that they do not let you add or import any records into their name servers before moving. This means that when you change your name servers to point to theirs you will be down. What is even worse is that they make you wait for full propagation across the Internet BEFORE they let you add any records. So you maybe be down for 48 hours while they propagate (2 full days!). I have NO idea how they are in business with dumb policies like this, every other hosting provider and DNS provider and BEST PRACTICE allows you to have all your record BEFORE you change your name server on the new system. Outages, if any, are minimal. Hard to understand why anyone would design something so stupid, and yes this is a design, not a technical limitation. Someone at Hostinger had to be intentionally stupid to force something that would other wise take seconds and could be done BEFORE migration. Run away, who knows what other dumb decisions they are making. Update 9/20/25 : Thank you for the public response that clearly shows you don't understand the problem, sad. Allowing customers to add records to a name server can be done at anytime, regardless of propagation. This is just a choice from Hostinger, a dumb one, but yet a choice. Congratulations. I had a very disappointing experience with Hostinger. Yesterday, without any prior warning or notification, they suddenly took down my website just because it was using a .ir domain. They claimed it was subject to sanctions.

The worst part is that they completely removed the site from the hosting environment without informing us. For hours, we were extremely worried that even our backups might have been deleted. They gave us absolutely no heads-up, and the entire situation caused a lot of unnecessary stress until we finally managed to retrieve our backups.

It’s worth mentioning that a few months ago they restricted access to the hosting panel from sanctioned countries (like Iran and Russia). At that time, at least they informed us one month in advance. That gave us time to prepare. But this time, they acted in the most unprofessional way possible, shutting down services with no notice at all.

Overall, this has been an unreliable and very frustrating experience. If you are considering Hostinger and your domain or access might be affected by sanctions, be aware that they may suddenly cut your service without warning and put your data at risk. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
