What do you like best about Hook Security?

What problems is Hook Security solving and how is that benefiting you?

The Hook reports allow us to identify people who need more help identifying phishing emails. They also provide video training to the user after being hooked and show them why they should not have fallen for it. This awareness then helps the staff recognize any genuine phishing attempts that may get through our defenses and minimizes the likelihood of malware infection and theft. What do you like best about Hook Security?

I think the domains it uses are a little weak. Maybe that's the IT person in me who can easily spot it, but the domains the emails come from are not always convincing. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

We use Hook Security for monthly phishing tests. To put it in perspective, when we first launched the use of Hook Security, we had a 19% failure across the organization. What do you like best about Hook Security?

My company policy and regulatory strategy require continuous training for each department, quarterly phishing simulations, and bi-annual spear-phishing sims. Keeping this activity on track can get complicated, but Hook Security made it quick and easy to set up. Now we're exactly as hands-on (and hands-off) as we want to be. What do you like best about Hook Security?

One issue we constantly ran into with other phishing testing software/providers was a lack of templates to use in our monthly and quarterly testing. Hook has a robust library of relevant templates to what is happening in our world at this moment. My team never had to create our own templates or spent hours prepping a test, it just was there ready for us to pick and send on the way! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Hook Security?

We had a few hiccups with billing issues initially, but this isn't a reflection on the actual product. The team was quick to reply and remedy the issue, and we continued using the software without delay. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Hook Security solving and how is that benefiting you?

Hook has allowed us to be a bit more agile in our training and testing with phishing scams. One issue we had with a previous partner was it was very easy to spot a phishing email. In reality, some phishing attempts, especially those aimed at the C-Suite member, can be pretty elaborate. Hook was the first company with a template that was able to stump one of our executive members. I know that isn't ideal, but I'd rather them fail in a test and have an opportunity to learn instead of failing in a real life scenario and causing harm to the organization.
