HiPeople has been an absolute game-changer for us as a startup recruitment firm. We initially used it to hire for a specialized role, and it made the entire hiring process faster, smoother, and more efficient than we could have imagined. The test results are presented in such a neat and easy-to-digest way, and the dashboard is not only super intuitive but also a joy to use—it's like hiring simplified!
What’s even more impressive are the benefits you get with the free version. The features alone exceeded our expectations, so I can only imagine how much value a subscription would bring. One aspect I particularly enjoyed about HiPeople is how it keeps you on your toes. The exercise with 25 questions, where we had to identify matching patterns, spelling errors, and more within just 5 minutes, was a game changer. It was a great challenge that really tested our quick-thinking and attention to detail. I loved the intensity and the mental stimulation it provided. One area I found challenging with HiPeople was the timer for the mathematical scenarios. I wished it was a bit longer, as it would have allowed more time for complex calculations. That said, I appreciate how the platform encourages quick thinking and adaptability. Additionally, I would have appreciated some guidance on using pen and paper for these scenarios, as some of the problems required detailed calculations. Their video interview, or interview in partucular, is straight forward and their software is easy to use (user-friendly). Their customer support is excellent, because when I could not enable permission for my microphone and camera use during the video interview, one of the support staff kept on emailing me, checking if I am able to deal with the technical problem I was faced with. Their pre-video interview questions remain the same throughout. And that is because when I was failing to get permission to access my microphone and camera on my browser settings, I had to come back to do the interview over and over again, but the questions still remained the same, which at some point were a bit annoying. I had recently applied for a job vacany on LinkedIn which required me to fill in an assessment via HiPeople. I did not have time at the time of applying, to submit the assessment and HiPeople sent me follow up emails until I was able to submit.
The assessment was easy to use, also rather fun to complete while being asked various questions in marketing management.
The video requirement was really simple to use as the question and video software popped up right after the assessment, giving me the opportunity to record my answer.
What was also really helpful was the option to re-record the video if I was not happy with it.
All in all I feel that HiPeople can help many HR departments to quickly review submissions. While giving applicants the ability to showcase their talent in a time that is suitable for them. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The downsides were relatively minor, such as, the absence of a metric showing the total number of questions remaining in the assessment. I am currently in research mode, to find a software that allows me to check the skills of every single job title in every industry, and I thought it was never going to happen. HiPeople gives you that and more. You have any open position, in any industry for whatever company in the same system, you can do reference checks right from there, it is a huge time saver.
