Hikvision iVMS-5200 Pros and Cons

The iVMS software will require a learning curve, however, I like being able to hook up all of my HIKvision sites together. I can access all of the cameras as well as the recordings without the need for Java security issues and webcomponents.exe downloads. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I feel the software is slow and clunky to operate, however better than the web GUI. There are other NVR solutions out there that have a much better interface and feels more intuitive to use and learn. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

We are using ivms5200 software for managing our network cameras and nvrs, the software is smooth and efficient it is very must advance software as compared to ivms4200 software which used to hang a lot as our number of cameras started to increase and so we decided to go for ivms 5200 which is a paid software from hikvision but its worth buying you can even manage your hikvision biometric devices if you have any in this software management of of nas devices and nvr is very easy and recovery of recorded file is not an issue att all which is not the case in ivms4200 Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The software is powerfull but also it is wide and difficult to understand for a first time user, picking up options in library for what you are looking for is difficult but the customer support executive fro hikvision are very helpful Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
