These functions decreased a lot of necessary configurations and hardware, it is suitable for customer technical requirements ### 3. I can access all of the cameras as well as the recordings without the need for Java security issues and webcomponents.exe downloads. **What do you dislike about Hikvision iVMS-5200?** I feel the software is slow and clunky to operate, however better than the web GUI. There are other NVR solutions out there that have a much better interface and feels more intuitive to use and learn. **Recommendations to others considering Hikvision iVMS-5200:** If you are looking for a watered-down version of the software then try the ivms-4200 lite as it works well for basic usage such as view only of your cameras as well as playback. It will not allow configuration of the system via this tool like the full ivms-5200 software does, but a good choice when needed. **What problems is Hikvision iVMS-5200 solving and how is that benefiting you?** The web GUI is a nightmare to use and often fails to do what we want. Each site ONLY watches their NVR feeds and this is much easier to setup. The only issue I would have about the singular setup is if there is an issue with the device then I would have to re-setup the program instead of just a web GUI.
