I love the simplicity and ease free nature of setting up pipelines. As some members in our team who come from non-tech background having knowledge in data, this tools helps them get the work done faster without having to worry about the programming and infrastructure side of it. It easily integrates in our platform. The customer support is excellent as well. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
What makes hevo best is the zero code ETL but sometimes it could be its limitations as well. It does'nt allow primary customization of existing pipeline and the deleted pipelines are not deleted completely. I would like for some technical customization from our end as well to the existing pipelines in some business complex data. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Hevo Data is an intuitive and user-friendly platform for real-time data integration. It supports seamless integration with a wide range of data sources, including databases, cloud storage, and SaaS applications. The no-code interface simplifies data pipeline creation, and the automation features help streamline the ETL process. Real-time data replication ensures up-to-date insights, and the platform's reliability ensures minimal data loss. Additionally, the error handling and alert system is helpful for proactive monitoring.
Hevo's support team is responsive and helps resolve issues promptly. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Limited Advanced Transformations: Complex data transformations may require additional scripting or external processing.
Pricing for High Data Volumes: Costs can increase significantly as data volume scales. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
hevo data provide no code usage for building pipeline. the interface for building pipeline is drag and drop which is easier to implemention. after getting addicted to the tool im frequency use of hevo data is becoming more and more day by day. There are more number of feature such as pipes ,data flows the data base ingration hevo data is very fast.. infact i would say replication data is speed enough Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Integration with BigQuery Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
There's not much to dislike, they have a wonderful platform. Maybe just a better understanding of how certain integrations work and a better way to stream data instead of loading everything Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I did not found any disadvantages when using hevo data Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Hevo's biggest advantage is its simplicity. It makes setting up data pipelines incredibly easy, even for people who aren't programmers. The huge number of apps it connects to is a real time-saver; you don't have to build custom integrations for everything. This means you get real-time data flowing into your warehouse quickly, which is crucial for making good decisions based on current information. Basically, it lets you focus on using the data, not wrestling with the technicalities of getting it. The customer support is also really good and prompt. We are using daily this pipelines. Its been really easy to integrate with sources. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Limited control over pipeline runs and scheduling.
Troubleshooting is difficult due to opaque connector workings.
Manual refreshes don't always fix synchronization problems.
Lack of granular control hinders effective problem-solving.
Oracle RDS to redshift facing too many issues due to missing permissions and there is no proper documentation where we can see the actual implementation and steps to setup. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I was looking for a solution to replace our buggy AWS Python Lambdas, which move data from DynamoDB to Redshift for analytics.
After evaluating AWS Glue and a few other vendors, I was impressed by how easy it was to set up pipelines with Hevo and how it "just worked."
I wrote a transformation to split the data across multiple Redshift tables, and it was super easy. Plus, the auto-mapping feature is a breeze.
We now have data we can trust.
The sales and support team were very helpful and eager to assist, even knowing we would be a small customer. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Nothing comes to mind as of right now. The pipelines are just running smoothly. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Shopify data is quite complex. Hevo makes it all accessible in an easy to use format in which you select the fields you want from each table. The user interface is easy to use and thorough, with appropriate defaults if you don't need to get into field mapping, etc.
One big benefit for us is that Hevo does not include a database and is priced less because of it. We already have a database and wanted to populate that vs. paying for storage and having to replicate.
We had occasion to use their support a few times; twice for things that were actually our errors in understanding the data and once for an issue with a name field that was a reserved name in Azure Analysis Services. They quickly troubleshooted the problem, provided a workaround using mapping, and will resolve the issue for future customers. Support is *very* responsive and sends status messages every day.
We have the capabilities in-house to build datalflows like this, but Hevo makes it very easy, very fast, and very configurable. Using them is worth the savings in understanding the intracacies of complex APIs.
FYI, we integrated with Synapse Analytics first, but it required a full time SQL pool that we just did not need for our use case. We then switched to Azure SQL Serverless and the product worked fine with that.
If you notice that we are not a current user, that is because we had to develop Azure Data Factory pipelines for other purposes and decided to do Shopify ourselves. If we were starting again from scratch, I would use Hevo instead, especially if I needed any of the other data sources they support. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The lack of a database could be an issue for some potential customers. The product is very attractive to people who won't build API interfaces, but it does require a bit of technical setup of a database, primarily because Shopify data cannot be queried quickly. Some products include this, but they are much more expensive. Also, if you don't need a database on your end now, you may well need one in the future and should consider going this route.
I'm giving them an N/A for security because I didn't deep dive on it. All interactions with them have respected security (e.g. they ask for permission for their support staff to access your data), but I didn't evaluate their business practices. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
