**What do you dislike about Hatch?**

We run a roofing company and were evaluating Hatch to help improve speed-to-lead and customer communication.

Before signing, we discussed implementation concerns during our Zoom sales conversations. Because we were still building internal systems, I specifically asked what would happen if timing or implementation challenges came up. During those discussions we were told that Hatch works with its clients in those situations and that it would not be an issue if something arose.

Based on that understanding, we agreed to move forward with a 6-month contract.

Shortly after signing it became clear that we were not yet ready internally to implement the platform effectively. When we raised this concern and asked to cancel early, the response we received was that the contract terms must simply be honored.

What was disappointing was the difference between what was communicated during the sales conversations and how the situation was handled afterward.

My recommendation to other businesses would be to ensure your internal systems are fully ready before signing, and to carefully evaluate alternative providers that demonstrate a strong willingness to work collaboratively with their clients when challenges arise.

It is not benefiting us. They have not listened to a single concern and only give us automated responses.

**What do you like best about Hatch?**

Hatch's Speed to Lead has assisted our appointment center in converting leads to appoinments. Speed to Lead sets a customers expectation tha contact is coming soon. The software has also been a revenue producer when it comes to keeping current customers advised of additional services. I have recommended Hatch to numorous contractors within our network

**What do you dislike about Hatch?**

I don't have anything bad to say at this point. Hatch has helped us grow the business and enhance the customer experience.

The intergration with AI is vital to our business.  We have several campaigns with AI Bots who communicat with our customers, gather all of the necessary information we need, they even schedule the appointment!

Nothing.  Hatch is essential to our business.

**What problems is Hatch solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Hatch solves our problems with speed to lead.  Hatch begins communicating with our leads once received.  What is nice is our Bots gather all of the required infromation we need to schedule an appointment.  I also love how the Bots can answer most questions.  When our business is closed, our Bots let the customer know and then tells them what they can expect next.

Highly flexible configuration of email, text and voice-drop message campaigns that can be customized to fit specific business processes.

Very few issues, but occasionally need help with messages that don't trigger properly - buit the support team is simply fantastic.

Automated messaging that fits the life-cycle of projects/services for our customers over time - everything from initial contact and appointments, follow-ups, production scheduling and post-production project closeout.

Set-up process and demo went well at first.

**What do you dislike about Hatch?**

After a few weeks of using Hatch, quickly realized it was not a goof fit for us. We orginally signed a 3 month trial of Hatch to test it out. After that 3 months they charged my card again for an additional 3 months that was never agreed to. That same day I reached to say I did not know my card was on file and I did not know I was going to be charged after our trial. "Leadership" denied my refund request without any explanation and I can't get any response from several of the contacts I have. 

Don't sign anything with them, I would look elsewhere. After the sales and set up process they will leave you high & dry

Was supposed to help upsell current customers and close outstanding quotes. It created more confusion and over-communciation with our clients. Not a good fit for us.

Love the automation and ability to easily create and manage campaigns. We switched from another software to Hatch and couldn't be happier. Our account rep is attentive and always available to teach or train when we need it.

Their support teams are always down to assist their customers in any way they can including being open to looking into new ways to intergrate and make things work seemlessly for better user experiences.

**What do you dislike about Hatch?**

I want dark mode for the new  beta background, I am visually impaired and white screens lose information for me and can cause serious headaches.

It makes connecting with customers in one place when they prefer text or email easier for us to view in multiple places between our crm and hatch boards based off campaign.

You have to get Hatch running right which sometimes requires you to go shake their tree to get it working properly. Sometimes its a hassle but worth it.

The capabilities of Hatch would be nice if you received the support you need for it to be successful.

Customer support. Your account manager will likely not respond to your emails for weeks at a time, leading you to follow up constantly. The main hatch support email reps will just forward your message to your rep, putting you back to square one.

**What problems is Hatch solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It was supposed to help with Speed to Lead, but we've since found another company that's much more helpful and actually provides the required support. You certainly get what you're paying for.

Hatch has been everything we hoped for and more. It has helped grow our business in a short about of time and relieve a huge amount of stress on me as the sales manager. Hatch makes work life much easier! The automated system and ease of use. Hatch does everything for me...almost! Very user friendly.

Not sure I have any dislikes. Still trying to get used to integrating from outside sources.

We really enjoy the ability to customize messages and fields per campaign, and being able to automate the speed-to-lead process! After-hours is a great feature as well which allows us to stay in contact and acknowledge customers' inquiries even out of office.

my only complaint is that creating settings and formulas within campaigns can be a bit confusing. Luckily, the customer support team is really great at helping generate formulas and addressing any issues/concerns that we've had!

Hatch unrolling the "business hours" feature has been great!! it helps me stay in touch with customers that maybe work an off-shift or are interested but not able to take a call. I love that I can log on to the Hatch app from home and keep up to date on everything going on.

Communication with customer which we liked most. As in industry for reaching customer on right time is very important for retention. This product help us retaining good customers.

Full intergration with lead tracking system required for tracking WIP. Anda internal chat system will also help in getting comment on the issue as soon as possible.

Communicating with customer on the different criteria is required as to pitch the product at right time. So, hatch solve this problem by creating multiple criteria on the basis of multiple logic of CLM.

**What do you like best about Hatch?**

The best part of Hatch, for me, is the customizability of the automation.  It is amazing to have texts go out to different prospects at different times and set it all up so that I don't have to worry about it.  The texts go out exactly when I want them to and more important.. when we need them to in order to get responses.

**What do you dislike about Hatch?**

The only down side of Hatch is when you have multiple users on a single campaign.  I have given my agents their own column to keep working thier prospects.  The only thing is, this list gets long fast and becomes a little hard to manage.  Also.. when you have more people and too many columns, that also becomes tough to use.

Hatch is enabling us to be able to reach more customers and get more reponse from prospects who we would likely never be able to get ahold of after the first couple conversations.

It has allowed our Office Managers (online team) to automate their responses which both speeds it up and frees up thier time to talk with the hottest leads. It also allows for detailed customaziation so any of our companies who might have overalpping customers don't have to worry about it being confusing for them.

There are various quircks in how you have to set things up and sometimes they are not every obvious. EX: Setting specific business hours for a campaign not just the general business hours.

It is allowing automated responses to customers/leads which enables us to get to the customer quicker as well as to focus on leads that are resonding VS manual follow up with those who are not.

The flexibility that we have in creating custom messaging campaigns for all stages of the customer journey. From speed to lead, booking notifications, appointment confirmations, rehash and follow-up, production updates, and feedback and review. We also use it for marketing to past and current customers with on-the-spot campaigns.

Could use more options for barriers of when to send and when not to send messages. Like holidays and separating Saturdays and Sundays on the weekends. Also deeper ability to determine what data Hatch uses to make decisions. IE prioritizing data updates from one platform over another.

**What problems is Hatch solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Keeping in contact with hundreds of leads, customers, and even our own team. Being able to work as a team to manage the contact. If one person is out to lunch or not working that day the customer is not left waiting for them to get back to respond. Any member of our team can jump in and help.

It is also great to be able to see the entire process from across the company. Who has said what and when.

It does not fail. it works well with our CRM, and does exactly what we need it to do when we need it done. If there is every and issue, I can quickly contact the help desk or my account manager, and they take the time to explain and/or troubleshoot. It is VERY reliable.

**What do you dislike about Hatch?**

I wish I could send out one-off campaigns to the entire database of contacts a little easier. So if I wanted to just send out a "Happy Holidays" message, I could do so without needing to make groups etc.

**What problems is Hatch solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The quickness of the automation (STL for sure) , as well as the comfort in knowing that it is working on its own (without me working). Also our current CRM isn't the best for lead management, and using the boards on HATCH is helpful as a secondary tool.

Implementing hatch software within an organization can be complex and time consuming. Implementing it with existing systems and tools can be very challenging for us.

Internal communication has been a piece of cake with it, sharing files and solving complex problem with the whole team is now possible with very few challenges.

It allows us to make good contact and keep that contact throughout the entire process with our customers. Nothing better than letting them know we've ordered their products and then letting them know we've received it. It helps a lot.

Not really sure what to say here. for me, it's hard to keep up and close out of the older messages. Would love a way to bulk close out, I think it would go a lot further for having 700+ messages a month.

Ensuring that we keep the customer involved from Cradle (Inquiring and setting up and appointment) to Grave (Installation and product completion). Without having that line of communication, we'd be dead in the water.

I like that Hatch allows my call center to easily manage and automate communication with leads. Our speed to lead and lead response times have gone up tremendously using hatch.

Hatch has been great overall. I would prefer is some of the reporting was a little more detailed. Other than that everything has been great & their team is awesome to work with.

Very useful tool. I don't have to hurry to be the first to get back to the lead so I can win it.
Leave it on autopilot and it will do the work for you, then jump in when is time.

The cost for this tool is on the high side.
Hard to decide if to keep it or not because of its price.
The app is slow to respond sometimes.

Hatch allows us to have a smaller staff because they are able to multitask efficiently. It allows us to track interactions with leads and customers. It is tied into our CRM, allowing us to get pretty granular in reaching people at any stage in the buying cycle.

The only downside is that the Hatch team seems small in number, so it can be hard to get someone's time. I do see that they are working hard to keep communication flowing, which I appreciate.

The instant response is very beneficial because even when I cannot contact the customer, they still get contacted immediately. I also like the built-in softphone feature because it is much more streamlined and uses the same caller ID number the text message came from.

There is absolutely nothing that I don't like about Hatch.

I would say that it super helpful that it is able to get leads set quicker than I can. I love also that no-sales and rehashing is so much easier!

I struggle sometimes with dragging things over to the right column it is a bit glichy sometimes. Small potatoes, though.

There's some quirky reporting features that don't always sync with current date. It usually corrects itself after a day or two but it's hard to track in real time how many texts/emails are going out each day for each campaign.

Hatch solves outreaching large quantities of potential customers through text and email. As a business, it's hard to ask one person to text or email hundreds of people a day to ask about their interest level in a project. Hatch does all that for you and more.

The app is to basic. I have sales reps on the road a majority of the day and if a customer calls them it is through a call forwarding and they don't know who is calling them. Not the end of the world. But it would be great to have a more robust app

Our entire team can collaborate in real-time to react to our customers through text and email. We can see everything that we have said for context and manage the customer's experience without having to make them repeat themselves. We have also created many custom campaigns to control our customer journey through the sales process and make sure their needs are addressed and the messaging is tailored to their individual journey.

We do not have full control over when some of the messaging triggers. Being able to set custom holidays for our business and the ability to separate Sunday and Saturday messaging.

The best feature that Hatch offers for my business is the automatic text campaigns. Speed to Lead is a real thing and Hatch helps to make sure you get to your lead immediately, while they're still at the peak of their interest.

Hatch is helpful with instant lead engagement, rehash, and as just a texting platform for people who prefer to text. It's invaluable, really, and an asset to our company.

Hatch sends out a text message to all new leads to introduce ourselves and provides the link for a lead to book a consultation online. Many leads book right from there. Also, people are so hesitant to answer calls from numbers they don't recognize. A text message is the best way to reach people these days.

The best aspect of Hatch is how easy it makes it for our customers to communicate with us. We've found people much more willing to get back to us when it's made easy for them via text or email, and the results have been great.

We have a little confusion every now and then as the automation that pulls people into Hatch means they may get a message after we've spoken to them separately. However, I'd much rather have this problem of occasional overcommunication rather than the opposite.

The biggest problem Hatch is solving is making it easier to get back to people after their initial appointment and actually getting them to respond. The benefit has been hatch becoming a significant part of our robust rehash and outbound efforts.

I do not have the time or energy to reach out 7-10 times to every single lead we get when sales are not closed same day, this picks up the slack. The automated portion of the program is very helpful.

I wish there was an easier way to have it "re-hash" people who were sitting in our CRM for a few weeks. There is no easy way to go in and add a list of emails or phone numbers to the rehash program and have it nurture them without reaching out to my representatives.

Most customers reach out after 3-5 connections but sales representatives only reach out 1-2 times. This gets much more feedback from customers as to why they are not closing.
