We have switched from printed brochures to a one pager that guides employees directly to our online gift catalog where they can always see the most up-to-date assortment for ordering. We’re finding this helps avoid disappointment over gift item changes and creates a better experience for employees. I hope this change is helpful for your recognition program!

What do you like best about HALO?

My rep, Roger, does a great job of helping with any questions that I have and is always responsive when I reach out to him. There are a good number of prizes at each level that cover a variety of interests Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about HALO?

I wish that HALO would bring back the paper catalogs that used to come with service awards. When someone is at 30 or 40 years of service the last thing they want to do is get a piece of paper telling them they need to go online to view and choose a prize. I would also remove the trigger which sends a gift to people who haven't responded. Generally, the lack of response is because the employee is no longer with the company and not eligible for a prize.
