I've tried a few video hosting tools but this one really stands out the best! The user interface is really great and easy to navigate - not clunky at all. You can import videos from various sources which is a time saver. I love that it's mobile optimised as I use my phone for a lot of my content. Embedding videos is a breeze and the videos play smoothly with no issues like buffering. I like the analytics too - great to see what my users like (and don't like so much)! The limits are not on the generous side but the pricing allows for an upgrade if I ever need more bandwidth etc Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What I like best about Gumlet is its seamless media optimization. It ensures fast load times by automatically adjusting to user devices and network conditions. Integration is simple, the analytics are insightful, and the pricing is fair, especially with bandwidth savings. Overall, it's a reliable and user-friendly solution. I've noticed a couple of things that could be better: The user interface could be more intuitive, and I'd appreciate faster response times from customer support. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I've tried a bunch of video hosting platforms, and Gumlet is hands-down one of the best. It's super easy to use, even for someone like me who isn't a tech whiz. I love how I can organize my videos into collections and folders, and the dashboard is really intuitive. The video quality is fantastic – it loads quickly and plays smoothly, way better than some others I've used (cough, BunnyStream, cough). Plus, they have some really cool features like custom CNAME for branding, DRM, and dynamic watermarks, which is great for protecting my content. Whether you're hosting online courses, marketing videos, or just need a reliable way to stream video, I'd definitely recommend checking out Gumlet. It's been a game-changer for me. its one of of the cheapest softwares for video hosting, but i wish it was even cheaper Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

- The most important features in Gumlet are the DRM (Digital Rights Management) and the dynamic watermarking what I like very much.
I will planning to create online courses. I spent at least 5 years to find the best online piracy protetctor SaaS.
It looks like I found the solution to protect my contents.
- On the Gumlet website have got a DRM protected sample video. I tested with many screen recording software with this sample. And guess what? I coudn't play properly the recordings file. The whole screen was grey colour. I tried downloading this video sample with the popular Video Download Helper extension (Mozilla Firefox) and it didn't work too. - I'm not a programmer guy. The learning curve will be tough for me I think. For example: hard to figure how to set up an API key for WordPress LMS (LearnDash), etc.
- They have a documentation page. I have reviewed. I hope the whole setting maybe not so complicated.
- The Gumlet has a YouTube tutorial channel, although the last content uploaded in 2023.
- I hope the CEO will uploading fresh helpful videos to their YouTube channel in the near future.
- Update: On November 30. 2024. in a Zoom meeting, Gumlet’s co-founder, Divyesh Patel, promised that to us in 2025 will upload tutorial videos to the Gumlet YT channel. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I have a client who wanted to have a video series subscription service on her WordPress website. I created a makeshift way to do this. When I told her about the ability for Gumlet to provide Netflix-style Membership Channels, she immediately saw the value and we purchased Gumlet. Creating a branded Channel was pretty easy. As a website developer I like Gumlet because I can create and manage multiple Membership Channels for my other clients.
I also like how the videos have protection from being copied vs Youtube or Vimeo. Most of my clients do not want people watching embedded videos on their website and then bouncing out to Youtube or Vimeo.
It's true, the videos do load very fast. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Areas where I think Gumlet needs improvement are:
1) Support for clients in the USA. Gumlet gives you the ability to book your own time slot for live support but times range from 9:30pm to 5:30am. If they want more USA clients they really need to provide business hour support.
2) I also wanted the Channel feature to provide a member payment features, which Gumlet does not have but says it is in the making to be released at a future date. Not having this mean I need to create my own payment portal and used an automation tool like TaskMagic to create the Gumlet registration invite. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

For an educational business, content is the most valuable commodity. If you invest your time and resources into developing content only to have it copied, you lose. You also need a way to distribute that content that is efficient and presents a great user experience. It needs to be fast and easy and not distract from the user experience. A good content platform facilitates the learning process. This means the platform also has to be optimized for delivery and speed anywhere the students are participating. And last it needs to have an interface to make managing the content easy. Gumlet does all this and it does it fantastically. The interface for content producer and consumer is super polished and intuitive. The optimized image CDN is a nice bonus. The subscribable streaming service is a nice feature too. 4K suport is nice. There are a lot of settings to fiddle with, some are a little confusing so you have to look through the documentation to make sure you don't mess up access to the content for the consumer. If you DRM a video, there is not an undo option. Some of the documentation links are broken. Seems like they need to clean up a bit. Would like more visual options like folders and tags to organize content. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What I like best about Gumlet is its ability to simplify media optimization effortlessly. It delivers lightning-fast performance by automatically resizing, compressing, and serving images and videos in the optimal format for any device or browser. Its CDN integration ensures seamless delivery, and the real-time analytics provide actionable insights. Plus, the intuitive interface makes it easy to use without requiring advanced technical skills. It's a perfect blend of efficiency and user-friendliness! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
For our usecase there isn't much we do not like. The upload limits could be higher though. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

To be fair coming from Vimeo, the pricing. Without loosing much on features.
Also having actual representatives that can lead you through hurdles and questions is very rare for these type of tools, so major props to the "support" team for being a there and being understanding! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Coming from Vimeo that is video based instead of minutes for Gumlet.
Not much as for now, hope to see a continuation of updates that the community votes for. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Gumlet is incredibly easy to use. The feature set is quite robust and has the features I need and expect from a top end streaming website and video host. I've been looking at several different video hosting services and this is one that really stands out. I'm impressed with the numbers of features there are. The ability to control all the aspects of embedding videos and sharing links is a big one for me, and Gumlet really delivers. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
There isn't much to dislike about the platform, it's very well designed. I do think the upload screen and process could be better. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Gumlet has been a total game-changer for me because it let me share my online video course content easily and efficiently. As a university lecturer, I was really worried about my students downloading and sharing my online videos without asking for my permission. But because of Gumlet's DRM features, I now can protect my videos and also can make sure that my contents will only seen during the right period of time and by the right people.
One thing that is really cool about this SAAS is the high level of customization that I get with the video player. I now can make it look and feel just right for my specific course, giving my students a very smooth viewing experience.
One more good thing is the AI subtitles engine – this feature is a lifesaver, It help making my content accessible to a lot wider audience/students. My students based from China can now accessing to my VDO easilier. In addition to that, the API integration has also made my workflow so much easier. And the Gumlet support team is very helpful . They are alway there when I needed a hand.
Honestly, this product is becoming an essential part of my course creation toolbox, and I'd recommend it to any educator or even content creator who is looking for a reliable solution for protecting and delivering their video content. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Not much for the price. Especially when I am comparing to their compettitors in market. However, there are some areas that could be improvement. For instance, the lack of subscriber management feature and also the lacking support for Chromecast might be limiting for some creators. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
