What do you like best about Growbots?
The ability to build a scalable and automatic email marketing touch cadence is fantastic. It's the best part of the platform. The 2nd best part is the ability to source leads at scale but more on that below. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
What do you dislike about Growbots?
Growbots' promise is fantastic. Unfortunately, their platform isn't ready for prime time.
Issues:
- Support - Growbots is not an intuitive platform. During and after onboarding we had minimal support and there was quite a lag in getting critical questions answered as support comes from Poland.
- Bugs - the system isn't fully baked. One example, their system showed that several prospects had clicked on a link with our email. One issue, the system also showed that these prospects had never been emailed.
- Lead Quality - our biggest issue with their platform is the leads themselves.
1. To start with, the system doesn't learn. If you email a prospect that is no longer with the company or the email bounces that contact doesn't update. The next user will have the same issue. Very frustrating given that approx 20% of the time you will have one of those 2 outcomes when you email through their system in bulk.
2. Issue #2 with the leads is the limited ability to filter them. If you are a b2b company like us, there is no way to separate companies within an industry that are a b2b play from a b2c play. This effectively blocks your ability to target that industry. Because of this, we quickly ran out of prospects.
3. With the rise of email automation marketing platforms response rates have dropped. We had built a 3 touch cadence that we used effectively 3 years ago. Unfortunately, each of those touches was performed manually making it too expensive to pursue. With automation, we thought that we had found the holy grail. Unfortunately, our response rates have been 1/3rd of what they were 3 years ago.
Conclusion - nice promise but too buggy and limited to achieve our goals. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Growbots?

What do you dislike about Growbots?
UI and UX. Not very intuitive and they don't have a training video series or anything to help you through the learning curve. The blog posts are okay but something more robust for training would probably alleviate a lot of questions handed off to customer service.
More substantially is the cost - you get charged everytime you add a new email so it's not very scalable, especially if one email gets put on a black list and can't be used for a couple of weeks. We are going to look at incorporating Instantly so we can add as many emails as we want without paying $700+ a month. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

This price is so much more than services like Appollo, Reach Hub, Seamless AI, and many more. No free trial, no real monthly options. What do you like best about Growbots?
Growbots is the best tool for email automation and gives you warm leads. This software is automated, which reduces your time searching contacts and sending emails one by one. You can run many campaigns at one time. The staff is outstanding and responsive. They are always available to help you out and answer queries in a short time. I have run two campaigns and am pretty happy with the overall performance and results. I recommend everyone to try this software if they want to scale their business to the next level. What do you like best about Growbots?
I like how I am able to generate prospects and automate emails to them all in one place. That in addition to customizing each email even though it's automated. I also love the new search filter for investments/series. It helps us target companies more specifically. I love that they keep the bounce rate under 10% as well. I wish I was able to filter by technologies that the companies I'm targeting use. As we're a data management tool, in order to target companies, we would need to know what kinds of BI tools they're using. Although I like the ability to creat lists and send emails, I would like a better reporting function with flexibility and real-time dashboards that you don't have to run.
