GoToMyPC Pros and Cons

I have used GoToMyPC off and on for the past 14 years. I liked it so much that when I needed to once again have the ability to remote into my office computer I chose to go back to GoToMyPC. What I like about it is the user-friendliness. It just is so easy to use! Also, I am comfortable with the price I pay. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Remote, help is incredibly simple to operate and reasonably priced. I have access to the PC that I require. I was permitted to access any of my three systems. I have the option of printing to my workplace PC or some other printer. The option to print from customers' PCs to my printer is among my favorite and most utilized features. The only issue I can figure out is the persistent LastPass pop-up that appeared for a time. The second complaint is the cost increase a few years back. I'd enjoy it more if its cost was reduced. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I have no dislikes, but the tool needs to get advanced features like connect wise and Datto in future Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

It is compact and convenient for use. With the internet portal, additional users may easily attend meetings or assist with calls. I can perform on my workplace PC from everywhere, and I can also change the angle of the view. I appreciate the data transfer features. If one needs to print offsite, he has the option to do so as well. It enables us to debug desktops for customers from any location. It contributes to users' high availability. I dislike downloading new applications. I prefer ideal alternatives. So, if you're comfortable with the conference program that allows you to share your display for a demonstration, you may anticipate it too. It's highly pricey - the total cost of maintenance is considerable. When I assessed the price to other alternatives, it was significantly higher. It is still less expensive than traveling all over the state. When a customer's PC goes down, we must reboot it personally, and also the file transferring or copying capability is disabled. I've used GoToMyPC for years. The program has been up and running, it is not a new startup based on everyone working from home during the COVID pandemic. Unfortunately, it is internet based, so you can't blame the program itself when an internet provider fails to provide service. But that is the downside to GoToMyPC; it is dependent upon good internet service for it to work adequately. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

It is an easy to use and very flexible platform with which I can easily access my computer or any frequently used software. It has an amazing feature, which is the ability to print files from my office computer to my printer and/or laptop.
